Walt Disney World Resort’s Boardwalk has been undergoing many renovations lately. The quaint area provides Guests with shops, dining, and nighttime, similar to Disney Springs. However, it has not reached the same popularity or excitement among Guests. Located between EPCOT and Disney Hollywood Studios, it’s a quarter-mile promenade that also connects a variety of Disney World hotels.

Boardwalk Dining

Among its lineup of dining options, it offers casual dining, such as Big River Grille and Brewing Works, a Pizza Window where you can grab a quick slice, and even some places for snacks, such as the BoardWalk Deli and BoardWalk Ice Cream.

Coming later this year is a new eatery…

Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs

Currently, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs has a stand at the Downtown Disney District in Disneyland Resort. As they expand to their new location at the Disney Boardwalk, they will take the spot where the old funnel cake kiosk once stood. The booth has undergone some recent changes, including white and blue paint and a “BoardWalk To Go” sign installed above the window.

About Steven Wilk

Steven has a complicated relationship with Disney. As a child, he visited Walt Disney World every few years with his family. But he never understood why kids his age (and older) were so scared of Snow White or Alien Encounter. He is a former participant of the Disney College Program (left early…long story), and he also previously worked in Children’s publishing, where he adapted multiple Disney movies and TV shows. He has many controversial opinions about Disney…like having a positive view of Michael Eisner, believing Return of the Jedi is superior to The Empire Strikes Back, and that Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge should have never been built (at least not at Hollywood Studios). Every year for the past two decades, Steven has visited either Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani or went on a Disney Cruise. He’s happy to share any and all knowledge of the Disney destinations (and he likes using parenthesis a lot…as well as ellipses…)
