Disney has the spot for you if you’re looking for a cool place to relax this summer! And no, we aren’t just talking about cool in temperature. Disneyland has rolled out a brand new rooftop pool deck that is set to be an absolute blast for the whole family.
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel at Disneyland in California is where Guests can “Step back in time at this old-fashioned yet modern hotel—home to a variety of shopping and recreation opportunities—and ride a wave of relaxation from your charming seaside-themed room all the way up to the rooftop pool for some welcome fun in the sun.”
The newly renovated rooftop pool now features characters from the hit film Finding Nemo (2003). Hang out with Nemo, Crush, and the gang while soaking up the sun.

Pools at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel
The renovation to become Pixar Place Hotel, still called Paradise Pier Hotel, has transformed their third-floor pool deck into a Finding Nemo fans’ dream come true. Guests staying at the hotel were able to enjoy the new recreation as of August 1, 2023. “Families can splish and splash at Pixel Pool, take a winding water ride down Crush’s Surfin’ Slide, and frolic with Hank on the pop-jet splash pad at Nemo’s Cove,” Disney writes.

Families can enjoy a day by the pool and soak in the new theme. “Cabanas, daybeds, and bungalows that surround the pool are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis until the hotel begins taking reservations,” Los Angeles Times reports. While the pool is only available to hotel Guests, all Guests visiting the pool are required to wear a wristband for entrance. Disney also notes, “Pool hours, slide operating times, and lifeguard availability vary by pool and weather conditions and are subject to change.” Additionally, it’s always important to add that life jackets are available and recommended for children.
Disney Dining writes, “This magical addition to the hotel’s amenities allows Guests of all ages to immerse themselves in the wonders of the beloved Pixar film,” and we couldn’t agree more. There is no better place to take in the California sun and enjoy some relaxation with your loved ones.
