Plaza de la Familia is back at Disneyland with all new experiences! Guests get to immerse themselves in the culture and eternal love of Plaza de la Familia. Celebrate the everlasting bonds of family and the spirit of Día de Los Muertos, while taking in your tastebuds on a ride through cultures inspiring new cuisine.
The celebration will begin on September 1 bringing the award-winning film Coco (2017) to life through music, entertainment, food, and novelties. Guests can enjoy the joyous celebration at Disney California Adventure Park and even some sips and bites over at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

Plaza de la Familia Foodie Guide
Of course, it wouldn’t be a foodie guide without delicious new menu items. What’s more, the novelties inspired by the very same themes are the perfect take-home gift after your memorable experience during the immersive celebration. Embrace the celebration from September 1 to November 2, 2o23.
Paradise Garden Grill
In Disney California Adventure Park, Paradise Garden Grill is serving up some new and old items for Plaza de la Familia. Try the new Chile Verde Chicken Flautas along with new sides like salsa verde and salsa roja. the menu offers inclusive options for those looking for plant-based meals like the Chorizo Quesadilla. Of course, a meal wouldn’t be complete without the delicious Watermelon Candy Cocktail. While it may not be a new item, it’s a staple including tequila and chile-lime seasoned rim, flavors of the inspired cultures.
Novelties
New menu items are great, but novelties inspired by Coco? I mean what can top that? Coco’s Dante Straw Clip is available with a purchase of a beverage. Find this adorable Dante clip at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. This novelty has a limit of up to ten per Guest.
Next is the Coco Skull Sipper which may be the best sipper released to date. Limited two per Guest can be found in Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. What may be the best part of this sipper is that you do not have to visit a Park to get your hands on this festive novelty.
Lastly, the Coco Souvenier Sipper has a purchase limit of ten per Guest. Only found at Disney California Adventure Park, find Miguel and his family all over this sipper with the classic colors of Coco.
