It’s always an exciting event when a new character joins a Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme Park. When there are two new additions, it’s even better.

Indiana Jones
Beginning June 30, Indiana Jones will appear outside Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye at Disneyland Park. This is undoubtedly a tie-in to the new Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023) film being released on the same day.

It seems that the Indiana Jones who will be appearing in Adventureland is based on the younger version of the character, not the one portrayed by 80-year-old Harrison Ford in the new film. However, the upcoming movie involves a lost artifact that can change the course of time, perhaps a younger Indiana Jones may not be entirely out of place.

Joining the Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park will be Nick Fury. In addition to being a staple of the Avengers movies, Nick Fury, played by Samuel L Jackson, was a main character in Captain Marvel (2019) and featured in the Secret Invasion (2023) series on Disney Plus.

The Avengers Campus is a recent retheme to a section of the California theme Park. The Marvel-themed land began when Disney changed the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror into Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout! It also incorporated Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure and Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts. Formerly “A Bug’s Land,” the newer area of the Park also features Avengers Headquarters, themed restaurants, and multiple meet-and-greets with various superheroes.
