Disney’s Encanto (2021) has taken the world by storm. The soundtrack is topping the charts and “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” is doing even better than Frozen’s (2013) “Let It Go.” This film has even had nominations for 2022 Oscars Best Animated Feature Film, Best Original Score, and Best Original Song for Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Dos Orguitos.”
Fans can now see Encanto on Disney+, but so many wanted to see it on the big screen again. This film was originally released in theaters on November 24, 2021, but it will be returning over this President’s Day Weekend. Check your local listings for showtimes and theater information.

If you aren’t sure what this movie is about, it is about the Madrigal family blessed with a miracle child with special powers. Protagonist Mirabel is the only one in the family not to receive a gift and notices signs that her family’s magic is at risk of fading. She takes it upon herself to save the Encanto.
The animation is beautiful, and the soundtrack will be stuck in your head for days. It must be popular because they climbed all the way to number one on the Billboard 200 with the hit “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.”
Some Disney soundtracks get stuck in your head, and this is definitely one of them. If you have not had the opportunity to see this movie yet, here’s your second chance to see it in theaters. Disney movies just have a special feel about them, and this one is no different. This is a perfect family night opportunity so start making plans now.
