Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside takes the beauty of the rural Louisiana Bayous and the stunning mansions, combining them into one luxurious experience. 

One of the Resort’s signature lounges is the River Roost. This dining experience offers light snacks and southern charm in the form of alcoholic beverages.

Their newest libation is the French 75. This bubbly cocktail consists of Argyle Sparkling Brut and Hendricks Gin, mixed with lemon juice and pure cane sugar. 

The River Roost Lounge has also received a new appetizer, the Spinach and Artichoke Dip. This plant-based dip is rich and creamy. It’s served with cornbread crostinis, dusted with Cajun seasoning.

On the other side of the hotel lies Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter. This half invokes the bold pageantry and glamour of the authentic New Orleans French Quarter. 

This Resort is home to old-fashioned gas lamps, cobblestone streets, romantic wrought-iron balconies, and the sounds of jazz. It’s also home to the Scat Cat’s Club. This delightful lounge offers food, drinks, and swinging live entertainment.

One of the new additions to this lounge is the Sassy Sassagoula Sliders. Don’t let their size fool you-these sliders pack a lot of flavor into a trio of bite-size sandwiches. 

One features barbecued jackfruit, fried pickles, and slaw. The next slider consists of fried green tomatoes and a giardiniera and pepper jelly. Lastly, the final slider consists of a fish cake, arugula, and spicy rémoulade. 

Whether you’re looking for something lively and exciting, or quaint and relaxing, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort has it all.
