Disney Tips Your Guide To A Great Disney Vacation
Disney Parks and Resorts are getting back to normal following changes in operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are thrilled to see favorite experiences making their return!
While most attractions across Disney Parks have reopened, there are still some in-park transportation options Guests have been waiting to ride once again, like the Walt Disney World Railroad in the Magic Kingdom and the Red Car Trolley in Disney California Adventure.
Today, Disney officially announced the return of one of these memorable transportation experiences, and we can’t wait to shared the details!

The Red Car Trolley, which offers Guests an iconic, old-fashioned transportation on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park will officially return very soon on July 17, 2022.
Disneyland announced the official return date on Twitter this afternoon, and judging by the responses the Park is getting, fans are more than ready to once again board the Red Car Trolley for a ride through this Disney Park.

The Red Car Trolley runs continually two four different stops along this area of Disney California Adventure Park.
Beginning on Sunday, July 17, 2022, Guests will once again be able to board the Trolley for a ride at any one of the following stops:
- Buena Vista Street near the Disney California Adventure Park Main Entrance
- Carthay Circle across from Carthay Circle Restaurant
- Hollywood Boulevard near the Disney Animation building
- Sunset Boulevard near the Hyperion Theater
- Rolling Right Out of History

The Red Car Trolley itself is a piece of history as its design is inspired by real-world counterparts. Disney Imagineers modeled the Park’s Red Car Trolleys after the Pacific Electric Railway trolleys that traversed the Greater Los Angeles area from 1887-1961. These trolleys operated on over 1,000 miles of track and were an iconic piece of California history.
