Rocket and Groot Added to Fab 50 Character Collection

A huge thanks to waltdisneyimagineering for sharing the latest addition to the Fab 50 Character Collection. If you’re a Guardians of the Galaxy fan you will be happy to hear that Rocket and Groot have been added. This is all in time for October 1st, 2021, which is the World’s Most Magical Celebration.

 

 

To quote waltdisneyimagineering Instagram:  Disney Imagineer @thezachriddley has revealed that Rocket and Groot are part of the “Disney Fab 50 Character Collection” that you’ll soon find across the four @WaltDisneyWorld theme parks during “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” starting October 1! #DisneyWorld50 ✨

Anyone who is not up to date on the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection it is going to be across all four theme parks. 50 gold characters will be distributed across the parks during The World’s Most Magical Celebration. Other characters that have already been announced are Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Chip ‘n Dale and more. You will want to make sure to have your cameras ready because you’ll want to take as many pictures as possible. Those classic Disney characters will all be at Magic Kingdom. Walt Disney World will be announcing the rest of the sculptures as it gets closer. You can see updates about the BB-8 statue and Bambi and Thumper statues as well.

There are  so many things coming up for the World’s Most Magical Celebration. A brand new firework show at Magic Kingdom called Disney Enchantment will begin, and a new firework show at EPCOT called Harmonious. Also, the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, it will be the opening of Disney KiteTails. There are so many new things that deserve to be celebrated, and you won’t want to miss them.
