For those unaware, Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort have a dress code that they expect Guests to follow. Disney’s official websites detail their policies for the California and Florida Theme Parks.
Walt Disney World seems to be more on top of its game when cracking down on people who break the rules. One of the most common violations at Disney’s Florida Parks is belly tops, while Disneyland Guests struggle with inappropriate text on clothing.
Last month a picture posted by a visitor at Disneyland Park sparked outrage in the Disney community. People were left wondering why the California Theme Park is not more diligent in maintaining a family-friendly environment.
Florida Guests are often required to change their clothes before being allowed to re-enter the Parks. Could an outfit planning service be the answer to this recurring problem at the Resorts?
One company seems to have found a solution with a business that focuses on helping individuals outfit plan for their Disney and Universal vacations. Once Upon a wardrobe is owned and operated by Ashlie Henderson and Lauren Hoesly, two friends and fans of Disney Parks.
The pair joined together to create the business, which “deliver(s) custom outfit planning for anyone needing the perfect look for their Disney World, Disneyland or Universal Studios vacation and beyond.”
The company advertises two different services on its website. Interested Guests can choose between the “Minnie” Look for fifteen dollars or the Full Look for twenty dollars. After purchasing a “Look,” guests are asked to complete a style survey.
Once completed, the girls begin shopping to create a unique ensemble for their clients. Guests can view the assembled pieces within 10-15 business days. It’s an interesting idea for sure.

Some may even call it a luxury, one which may help ensure Guests don’t get penalized for attire that doesn’t meet Disney standards. What do you think? Would you ever pay for a service like this?
