Disney Genie+ offers Guests at the Walt Disney World Resort the ability to save time waiting in line for popular attractions, but did you know there are other ways you can move through the Parks’ massive queues quickly?

Heading over to your favorite attractions early in the morning or right before the theme parks close is another solid method of avoiding long waits in line. And, if you are visiting the Parks alone, or do not mind sitting by yourself on an attraction, Single Rider lines can be helpful, too!

One EPCOT attraction just began testing out a single rider line for the first time ever, and this could be a game changer for your next solo trip to the Disney Park.

Soarin’, located in the Land pavilion at EPCOT, just debuted a Single Rider line option for the first time since the attraction opened.

To access the Single Rider line, Guests can arrive at the entrance to the attraction and keep to the left (or follow the instructions by nearby Cast Members, as seen in the photo below:

The Single Rider queue itself uses a walkway that was previously only accessible to Disney Cast Members working at the attraction. Guests using the single rider queue will continue down that walkway until they reach one of Soarin’s theaters, where they will be directed to a row with an open seat based on the party sizes ahead of them.

Adding a Single Rider line to such a popular EPCOT attraction is certainly exciting, as Guests at Walt Disney World are always looking for new ways to save time waiting in line.

If you plan to use the Single Rider line for your next ride on Soarin’ Around the World, or any other attraction during your Walt Disney World vacation, remember that you will not be seated with the rest of your party. Single Riders are used to fill in odd spaces between parties, so if you join the Single Rider queue as a group, you will be separated.

Disney’s official description for Soarin’ Around the World reads:

Feel the thrill as you’re raised high in the air and swept from one scenic locale to the next. See the world’s wonders—natural and manmade—like you never have before. No mountain is too high. No landscape is too far.

Your journey begins as the clouds part above the majestic Swiss Alps. Next, you’ll visit polar bears in icy Greenland, swoop past sailboats on Australia’s iconic Sydney Harbour and weave between elephants marching toward Mount Kilimanjaro.

Glide above marvels like the Great Wall of China, the Great Pyramids of Egypt and the Taj Mahal in India. Cruise over Monument Valley, Fiji’s Lau Island and thundering Iguazu Falls in South America. Look down on the Eiffel Tower as it sparkles like a jewel in the night, surrounded by the lights of Paris.

This must-see attraction will leave your heart soaring!

At this time, the Single Rider queue for Soarin’ is currently testing. If this becomes a permanent option for those looking to ride, we will be sure to share an update here on DisneyTips.
