Calling all Disney foodies! We’re trying not to panic but a fan-favorite Disney snack are been REMOVED from the Disney Park menu.
New experiences are preparing to return in full swing this Spring as we welcome back the Festival of Fantasy Parade, a new character bursting cavalcade, Mickey Mouse’s return home at Main Street Theater, plus, masks are now optional for vaccinated Guests. BUT – one delicious experience is GONE.
You’re strolling through Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom Park. It’s an exceptional Central Florida day and you can almost see the magic floating through the air.
Your taste buds are tingling as you approach one of your favorite Disney snack locations, Sunshine Tree Terrace in the Adventureland portion of the Park.

You approach the window only to find SOMETHING is missing! Yep, you guessed it… the beloved Citrus Swirl has been removed from the menu at the Sunshine Tree Terrace.
@GottaGoOrlando reported the news with “Oh noooooooo!!!! Citrus Swirl has been disconnected at Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom. Why????????”
Say it ain’t so, Disney!
The current Sunshine Tree Terrace menu includes Chocolate and Vanilla Swirl Soft-serve Cup, Chocolate Soft-serve Cup, DOLE Whip Orange Cup, Orange Cream Soft-serve Cup, DOLE Whip Strawberry Cup, and a Vanilla Soft-serve Cup… but no Citrus Swirl.
Oddly enough, the Citrus Swirl is still featured on the Disney website, noting, “Try our popular Citrus Swirl Orange Slush made with soft-serve vanilla ice cream and frozen orange juice – yum!”
Why would Disney drop the Citrus Swirl you ask? We really aren’t sure!
The Citrus Swirl has been missing for several months actually. Reports shared that it was gone prior to Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration. The word was however that it would be making a comeback soon. Well, that “soon” has now turned into “discontinued.”
It looks like we’re going to need to figure out a new snack for that slushy orange juice and vanilla combination taste! While the DOLE Whip Orange cup tries… it’s just not the same as the Citrus Swirl.
