We might still be enjoying fall at Walt Disney World, but the holiday season is right around the corner! It’s time to start preparing for holiday dining if you happen to have a trip planned for Thanksgiving or Christmas, and we’ve got the scoop on one of our favorite Disney Resort restaurants.
Some of the best dining experiences at Walt Disney World can be found at the Resorts, so we always recommend spending some time checking out the restaurants that are worth leaving the Parks for. The Resorts along the Magic Kingdom monorail loop or in short walking distance of EPCOT may be some of the most common picks for dining, but there is one other Resort you can’t miss, especially during the holidays.

Whispering Canyon Cafe is one of the best family dining experiences at Walt Disney World. Located right off the lobby, this location is known for its all-you-care-to-enjoy skillets and hilarious Cast Member antics. For the holidays, Whispering Canyon offers a different take on its usual skillet experiences with special feasts.
Disney’s official website notes:
On Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, Whispering Canyon Cafe will offer a prix-fixe holiday meal for lunch and dinner. The breakfast menu will be served 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM, and the holiday menu will be served from noon until 10:00 PM.

The Thanksgiving Feast at Whispering Canyon Cafe comes with a three-course meal that includes the restaurant’s famous cornbread and a house salad, followed by a choice of three different all-you-care-to-enjoy skillets. Alongside familiar favorites, Guests dining on November 24, 2022, will be able to choose the Thanksgiving skillet, which comes with oak-smoked turkey and barbecue favorites finished off with a seasonal dessert sampler.

Disney has not yet revealed the menu for Christmas dining at Whispering Canyon Cafe, but we still recommend booking your reservations now if you plan to visit during the holidays so you do not miss out.
Pricing for Thanksgiving dining at Whispering Canyon Cafe runs $45 for Guests ages 10 and over and $27 for children ages 3-9. Reservations are available (while they last) on DisneyWorld.com or in the My Disney Experience app. Happy holidays!
