The Animal Kingdom Quick Service Restaurants at Walt Disney World

Quick service dining at Walt Disney World is unlike what you would expect when visiting a theme park.  You may be surprised to find that there are actually a ton of great options, each with their own unique offerings and variety.  Animal Kingdom has themed lands and many of the dining locations feature foods that are inspired by those lands.  Here is the rundown of many of the quick service restaurants within Disney’s Animal Kingdom:

16. Anandapur Ice Cream Truck – Asia

This location is a fun ice cream truck located within the Asia area that offers soft serve ice cream and ice cream float option.  There are also a variety of different beverages, too.

15. Caravan Road – Asia

This kiosk is located across Discovery River from the Tree of Life and offers delicious items including a Teriyaki Beef Slider, Edamame and beverage options.  It is a great spot when you need quick snack and then get back to the fun.

14. Creature Comforts – Discovery Island

Creature Comforts it the Starbucks location within the theme park.  You can get a variety of specialty coffee options, plus delicious pastries and sweet treats.  This is definitely one of the first places that my crew likes to stop when we first enter the park.

13. Dino-Bite Snacks – DinoLand U.S.A.

This is a great dessert spot when you are looking for a sweet treat to cool off in the heat of the day.  The location offers hand-scooped ice cream, sundaes, cookies, floats and more.  There are also chips and Mickey Pretzels if you are looking for a salty snack.

12. Dino Diner – DinoLand U.S.A.

The main item offered at this spot is the Italian Sausage Hoagie.  It is made with broiled Italian sausage, sautéed onions and sautéed peppers.  There are also sweet treats and beverages, including alcoholic beverages.

11. Eight Spoon Café – Discovery Island

If you love macaroni and cheese, then this is definitely the spot for you.  There is a basic baked macaroni and cheese or you could opt for the baked macaroni and cheese with pulled pork or the baked macaroni and cheese with shrimp and sweet chili sauce.  The one with shrimp and sweet chili sauce is my personal favorite!

10. Flame Tree Barbecue – Discovery Island

This is an extremely popular quick service location within the park.  You can smell the food in the location throughout the area and it will definitely have you wanting to give it a try!  There are a variety of barbecue options.  The sampler platter that includes smoked ribs, chicken and pulled pork served with baked beans and coleslaw will definitely give you an amazing taste of everything the location has to offer.  You can also get a variety of desserts and beverages, too, for a complete and delicious meal.

9. Harambe Market – Africa

You will definitely want to check out the delicious ribs at Harambe Market.  They are African spice-rubbed ribs with a barbecue glaze and then served with green papaya slaw and black-eyed pea salad.  This location is also known for a variety of delicious beverages, including alcoholic beverages.  The Leopard’s Eye is a favorite, made with Snow Leopard vodka and then blended with kiwi and mango flavored Bibo.

8. Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery – Africa

If you are looking for a great spot to stop for breakfast or snacks, then you definitely want to check this out.  During breakfast you will find a variety of pastries and breakfast items, including the Hot Breakfast Wrap, made with egg, sausage, spinach and goat cheese.  You can grab a coffee and snacks throughout the day at the location, too.

7. Pizzafari – Discovery Island

This is another extremely popular location within Animal Kingdom.  The location is open for lunch and dinner services and feature a variety of delicious pizzas and flatbreads.  You will also find salads if the pizzas aren’t your thing.  Be sure to save room for dessert to try out the Cannoli Cake which is a chocolate cake with chocolate chip cannoli filling topped with chocolate ganache and garnished with a mini cannoli filled with sweet ricotta cheese and chocolate chips.  You definitely won’t leave hungry!

6. Pongu Pongu – Pandora – The World of Avatar

Pongu Pongu offers a few quick offerings for breakfast or snacks for later in the day.  The Pongu Lumpia is a really unique offering for breakfast, which is a pineapple cream cheese spring roll.  You also have to try the Night Blossom specialty beverage.  It is made with layers of apple and desert pear limeade topped with passion fruit boba balls.

5. Restaurantosaurus – DinoLand U.S.A.

If you are looking for classic quick service offerings like cheeseburgers, shrimp, chicken and more then this is a great option for your group.  There are a variety of options, so there is sure to be something for everyone.  There are also great dessert and beverage offerings for a complete meal.  The location is open for lunch and dinner, so it is very convenient to fit in within your plans at the park.

4. Satu’li Canteen – Pandora – The World of Avatar

This is a very popular quick service location since Pandora – The World of Avatar first opened.  The location is known for their amazing bowls where you can select the protein and other items that are added to the bowls.  You will definitely want to use the mobile order service for this location due to the popularity.

3. Tamu Tamu Refreshments – Africa

This location offers the very popular Dole Whip.  You can also get the alcoholic version of this fan favorite at the location, too.  You will also find other ice cream treats and beverages, too, if the Dole Whip isn’t your thing.  If you haven’t had one, you should definitely give it a try, though!

2. Trilo-Bites – DinoLand U.S.A.

The Buffalo Chicken Chips at this location are amazing!  The location only features a couple snack options, plus beverages.  It may not offer a large variety, but you will definitely want to try out these amazing Buffalo Chicken Chips.  They are a perfect snack to enjoy in between attractions.

1. Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes – Asia

There is a table service location or this quick service option for guests that want to eat quickly and get on your way to ride Expedition Everest. The location serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and features a variety of different options.  There is definitely something for everyone no matter when you dine.  Breakfast includes standard options like sandwiches, burritos, muffins, fruit and more.  My favorite are the lunch and dinner options.  The American Kobe Cheeseburger or the Teriyaki Beef Bowl are my personal favorites.  We love the variety of options, so there is definitely something for everyone.
