The Epcot Lounges at Walt Disney World

Many guests who enjoy a vacation in Walt Disney World spend much of their time in the four theme parks, especially Epcot. Epcot is particularly loved by guests thanks to its amazing attractions, entertainment, theming, dining, shopping, and more. Guests can spend hours enjoying all that both Future World and World Showcase have to offer in Epcot, and many guests particularly enjoy trying out the dining options. In addition to amazing restaurants, Epcot is also home to several lounges that each feature their own unique theming and atmosphere which allow guests to feel totally transported while enjoying delicious food and beverages. Featuring unique menu options that bring locations from around the world to life, the lounges found in Epcot are each one of a kind and must be experienced at least once. Here are the three lounges that can be found in Epcot that every guest has to enjoy at some point during a Walt Disney World vacation.

1. La Cava del Tequila

The Mexico Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase is a favorite location of many guests thanks to its perfect combination of entertainment, dining, attraction, and more. While the front portion of the pavilion is outdoors and situated along World Showcase Lagoon, the majority can be found housed inside a massive ancient pyramid with beautiful details. Inside, the courtyard is themed to feel like a marketplace at nighttime and guests can check out the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros, small shops and stalls, and an amazing lounge. La Cava del Tequila is located right at the bottom of the right entrance ramp inside the pyramid. This cozy location is on the small side, and often has a wait to get in, but is so worth a visit. With warm lighting thanks to beautiful glass globes, exposed brick, and wooden accents, the lounge welcomes guests in to enjoy a drink and bite. Featuring over two hundred types of tequila, La Cava del Tequila offers up specialty drinks including tequila flights and margaritas such as the Jalepeno, Blood Orange, Maelstrom, Minty Pineapple, Cucumber, and La Cava Avocado. In addition to the wonderful beverages, guests can also order up small bites including classics such as chips and salsa and guacamole.

2. Rose & Crown Pub

The other side of World Showcase in Epcot is home to the UK Pavilion which is brimming with charm thanks to its winding roads, classic styles of architecture, and popular dining and lounge location right on World Showcase Lagoon. The Rose & Crown Dining Room is a popular location for full service lunches and dinners, but guests who are not looking to enjoy a meal, but rather a delightful beverage, can enjoy the other half of the establishment. The Rose & Crown Pub is themed to feel like a traditional British pub with an ornate wooden bar, beamed ceilings, and welcoming atmosphere. Typically crowded, guests who stop in for a drink can often enjoy live music and plenty of conversation with other friendly guests and Cast Members. The menu at the Rose & Crown Pub features classic draft options, wines, and cocktails in addition to specialty pub blends such as the Golden Fox Imperial Pint, Black & Tan, Shandy, Blacksmith Imperial Pint, and more. Guests can also enjoy dining on classic options such as Fish and Chips, Scotch Egg, Buttered Banger and Chips, and British Butty. With wonderful drinks, food, and atmosphere, every guest has to stop by and spend some time at the Rose & Crown Pub.

3. Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar

The Italy Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase is truly beautiful as it uses classic architecture, artwork, and theming to bring the city of Venice to life. As guests explore the pavilion, they can enjoy entertainment, shopping locations, and several dining options including a popular lounge that offers up a cozy atmosphere paired with delicious beverages and food options. Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar is themed to feel like an actual wine cellar with vaulted wooden ceilings that mimic wine barrels, warm lighting from beautiful fixtures, a dark wooden bar, and intimate tables for guests to relax at. Featuring over two hundred different bottles of wine all imported from Italy, guests who spend time in the location have plenty of amazing options to sip on while enjoying all that the wine bar has to offer. In addition to the extensive beverage menu, guests who stop at Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar can also indulge in many different food options including Proscuitto di Parma, Carciofi, Lasagna, Ravioli Caprese, Bistecca, Fettuccine, and many different types of paninis. Those who save room can also indulge in decadent desserts including Chocolate Caramel, Cannoli, Vanilla Panna Cotta, Nutella Chocolate Cake, and Mocha Tiramisu. With the perfect combination of atmosphere, drinks, and food, Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar is the perfect lounge for guests to spend time in while in Epcot!

About Caitlin Kane

Caitlin Kane first started visiting Walt Disney World when she was two years old, and despite spending most of that trip quarantined with the chicken pox she managed to fall in love with the place. Visiting WDW every year since, she especially loves learning all about the history and small details of the parks and eating/drinking her way through the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival each fall. When she's not in Disney, Caitlin lives in New York and spends her time counting down the days to her next trip.
