Top 5 Quick Service Options in Magic Kingdom

Food is an extremely important part of a vacation to Walt Disney World. Guests now need to use mobile ordering when it comes to ordering food at most quick service locations. With that in mind, it is important to plan where you want to eat while on vacation. To help you determine where you should eat, we have the top five quick service locations in Magic Kingdom.

Sleepy Hollow- Liberty Square

Located in Liberty Square right next to the castle, Sleepy Hollow is a fantastic quick service location for any meal of the day. They have the classic Mickey waffles at breakfast that you can load up with powdered sugar or strawberries. The most popular breakfast item found here is the fresh fruit waffle sandwich. This delicious waffle includes fresh strawberries, bananas, blueberries with a sweet chocolate hazelnut spread. The lunch and supper menu does tend to change, so make sure you check the app for the most up-to-date offerings, but the one we highly recommend and is a staple here is the sweet and spicy chicken waffle sandwich. Again on a fresh waffle, a honey-sriracha glazed chicken with a delicious broccoli slaw is added to make a fantastic meal. This location gets extremely popular, so make sure you get your mobile order in quickly if you want to eat here. We find this spot breathtaking as you can enjoy your meal next to the castle as you watch people come and go throughout the Magic Kingdom. It doesn’t get much better than that.

The Friar’s Nook- Fantasyland

Our second choice in the Magic Kingdom is another smaller location that offers some great and unique options. Found over in Fantasyland, Friar’s Nook, currently only offering lunch and dinner, has some fun tot options. There is a mixture of different tot bowls that you can choose from, making sure everyone has the chance to get what they want. The creamy bacon macaroni and cheese tots are great for the little ones, whereas the loaded buffalo chicken tots are fun for adults looking for something a little spicy. Friar’s Nook offers mobile ordering as well, making it easy to get your food. Keep your eyes on the menu as the breakfast items that were once offered here were delicious as well. If they bring back the breakfast sandwich or the donuts, we highly recommend those as well for breakfast or a quick snack.

Casey’s Corner- Main Street, USA

For American baseball favorites, you can head to Casey’s Corner, where you can find hot dogs, corn dog nuggets, and delicious fries. Even though there isn’t a lot on this menu, the food is fresh and delicious. Kids will love the classic hot dogs and nuggets where adults can enjoy the chili-cheese foot-long. Located right outside of the main hub, Casey’s Corner is a perfect location to have a meal and enjoy the beautiful view of the castle as well as the cavalcades and all the magic that takes place on Main Street, U.S.A..

Columbia Harbour House- Liberty Square

Columbia Harbor House is an excellent option for Guests for lunch and dinner. What makes this location a great choice is the unique options that are offered. Columbia Harbour House has New England style foods focusing on fish, shrimp lobster rolls, clam chowder, and outstanding sides. Choose from fresh vegetables or hushpuppies that are both a filling choice. Another fact we love about this dining location is how much room there is for seating. Many Guests aren’t aware of a whole upstairs dining location, making it a slightly quieter area. It also provides some views of Liberty Square. Columbia Harbour House has just recently opened, and we are thrilled to have this option back opened in the Magic Kingdom as it provides some delicious options within the Magic Kingdom.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe- Frontierland

Our final option for quick service meals in Magic Kingdom is Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe. This is where Guests can find fajitas, tacos, salads, and cheeseburgers for those less adventurous eaters. This is a larger dining location, meaning that mobile ordering can be found more often than some smaller dining locations such as Sleepy Hollow and Friar’s Nook. Like Columbia Harbour House, Pecos Bill has a large dining location both on the main level and on an upper level. This upper level is hidden, so make sure to ask a Cast Member if you can’t find the ramp to head up into the area. You can also find churros with dipping sauce, which is a great treat option as well. Some of the bowls and platters here can give you some choices if you are looking for lighter options.

Magic Kingdom has various quick service options throughout the Park, but when we narrowed down our favorites, these were the five that stood out. Each of them offers fresh, unique options beyond the typical theme Park food and a great atmosphere for eating. All five offer mobile ordering, which also helps to get your food order placed early on in the day to ensure your pick up time. We hope these options will help you have a fantastic meal next time in the Magic Kingdom. Learn more about dining at Walt Disney World.

About Jennifer Retzlaff

My name is Jennifer Retzlaff and I became a lifelong Disney fan during my first trip to Walt Disney World in 6th grade. From that moment, Disney became a big part of my life. I live in Iowa with my husband and two kids who are growing up too quickly for my liking. I started introducing my love for Disney early to my family with a Disney honeymoon and then trips when our youngest of 18 months. Since then, our family has been to Walt Disney World over five times and we continue to plan and dream for the next trip. I love the magic that Disney brings to people through the theme parks, cruises, adventures and movies they create. As a teacher, I try to bring that magic into my classroom to help kids believe that “If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It.” I recently reached a dream of mine as I joined Magic Vacation Planner as a personal travel advisor. With this team, I can now help others plan magical vacations. As a passionate writer, I also have my own blog at magicalvacationsbyjen which is also where you can follow me on instagram for trip reviews along with tips and tricks for your next magical vacation.
