Top Ten Lounges At Walt Disney World

One of the best ways to relax in Walt Disney World is taking a break from exploring the attractions and entertainment in the Disney Parks and enjoying a unique lounge. Walt Disney World is home to dozens of lounges which range from quiet and intimate locations to larger areas with intricate themes and full menus. With so many lounges to choose from, guests are never far away from a location that can serve up a delicious cocktail or nonalcoholic beverage and some tasty snacks or more substantial menu items. Relaxing in a lounge is a great way to recharge and also enjoy some of the most incredible drink options. While there are plenty to choose from, these are the top ten lounge to enjoy while in Walt Disney World!

1. Nomad Lounge

Nearly every guest who spends time in Disney’s Animal Kingdom checks out the beautiful Pandora – The World of Avatar, and an incredible lounge can be found just outside of the land’s main entrance. Nomad Lounge features both indoor and outdoor seating areas and features a menu that focuses on flavors from around the world. The interior offers up items collected from world travels as well as unique questions hanging from banners up above and the outdoor seating area offers the perfect spot for people watching as well as lovely river views. Some small plates offered at Nomad Lounge include Togarashi-Spiced Tuna Nomad Bowl, Fish Tacos, Poutine Smoked Pork Ribs, and Beef Sliders all of which pair perfectly with cocktails including the Lamu Libation, Boto-Rita, Dalang’s Delight, Hightower Rocks, and Annapurna Zing.

2. BaseLine Tap House

Another wonderful lounge to enjoy can be found on Grand Avenue near the main entrance to Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. BaseLine Tap House is styed to look as though it would fit in in downtown Los Angeles and features an exposed brick façade, cozy interior, and outdoor patio filled with picnic tables and overhead bistro lighting. Everything served at BaseLine Tap House is directly imported from California, and guests can sip on beverages on tap including Angel City IPA, Golden Road Hefeweizen, North Coast Scrimshaw Pilsner, Stone Delicious IPA, Ace Space Bloody Orange Hard Cider, St. Francis Chardonnay, and Exotic Margarita. Each drink featured at BaseLine Tap House pairs perfectly with the small bites offered on the menu including Spiced Almonds, Bavarian Pretzel, California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate, and Coffee-Rubbed Rib-Eye Steak Puff with Olive Salad.

3. Oga’s Cantina

Also found in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the insanely popular Oga’s Cantina. Located in the heart of Galaxy’s Edge, Oga’s Cantina immerses guests in the Star Wars universe with a lively atmosphere filled with interesting characters. With upbeat music, servers who might ask whether you are rebel sympathizers, and unique décor, Oga’s Cantina is as entertaining as the drinks are delicious. Guests who score a reservation to Oga’s Cantina can sip on alcoholic cocktails including the Bespin Fizz, Fuzzy Tauntaun, Jet Juice, and Yub Nub and nonalcoholic options include the Black Spire Beer, Carbon Freeze, Blue Bantha, and Jabba Juice. Small bites are also served up throughout the day, making Oga’s Cantina the perfect place to enjoy while exploring all of Galaxy’s Edge!

4. La Cava del Tequila

While there are plenty of locations to find delicious beverages throughout Epcot’s World Showcase, one lounge location in the Mexico Pavilion is both popular and delicious making it a must for many guests. La Cava del Tequila is nestled inside of the ancient pyramid and offers a small and cozy interior with several tables and several seats at the bar. There are several small bites offered at the lounge including guacamole or queso, but the main focus is obviously tequila. With over two hundred options to choose from, guests who stop at La Cava del Tequila can order up tequila flights as well as specialty margaritas and drinks including the La Cava Avocado, Jalapeno, Maelstrom, Cucumber, Minty Pineapple, Horchata, Mexican Mule, Gin Agua Fresca, and Gracias a Dios Paloma. Since La Cava del Tequila is so popular, it is a great idea to visit earlier in the day to avoid a wait!

5. Rose & Crown Pub

Also found in Epcot’s World Showcase, the Rose & Crown Pub is a lively and popular lounge to enjoy while in the UK Pavilion. Attached to the Rose & Crown Dining Room, the Rose & Crown Pub invites guests into a quaint and bustling traditional English pub where the music is loud, the service is friendly, and the drinks are delicious. Always busy, part of the charm of the lounge is the crowd of people, many whom end up mingling and talking with each other. While in the Rose & Crown Pub, guests can order up classic British dishes including Fish and Chips and a Scotch Egg while sipping on pints of classics including Guinness Stout, Boddingtons English Pub Ale, Bass Ale, Smithwick’s, Strongbow Cider, and Harp Lager. Special pub blends also offer unique combinations that guests are sure to love!

6. Tambu Lounge

For those looking for a more laid back lounge, one location at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is the perfect option. Tambu Lounge is located on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House just outside of the main entrance to ‘Ohana. Featuring a small bar and cozy corner with large windows overlooking the Disney Resort’s beautiful grounds, Tambu Lounge brings the tropical feel of the islands to life. Guests can order up an array of wine and beer in addition to specialty cocktails including the Backscratcher, Lapu Lapu, Watermelon Margarita, Rum Swizzle, Puka Punch, Hawaiian Mule, and Polynesian Mai Tai. Each drink at Tambu Lounge pairs perfectly with small bites and guests also have the option of ordering the dinner items from ‘Ohana in smaller portions!

7. Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is also home to another lounge which offers interactive and quirky fun that pairs perfectly with tropical themed bites and beverages. Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto is located on the first floor of the Great Ceremonial House just past Capt. Cook’s and welcomes guests into a cozy interior filled with lots of interesting props and windows looking out into Polynesia. Many of the beverage options at the lounge feature accompanying special effects where the servers, space itself, and guests all get into the action making for a fun and immersive experience. Guests who stop by Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto will love small bites like Kalua Pork Tacos, Sushi Rolls, Pan-Fried Dumplings, and Hawaiian Poke, all of which pair wonderfully with cocktails such as the Uh-Oa, Polynesian Pearl, Tahitian Torch, Mosquito Mojito, Nautilus, Hippopotoai-Tai, and Polynesian Pearl.

8. AbracadaBar

The Crescent Lake area just behind Epcot’s World Showcase is home to several Disney Resorts as well as many different wonderful locations where guests can enjoy dining, entertainment, and lounges. A great lounge on Crescent Lake is AbracadaBar which features both a delicious theme and rich back story. The lounge was once a hangout for famous magicians and story has it that the lounge disappeared one night when they were all trying out new tricks. Now open once again, guests who venture inside of AbracadaBar can enjoy a lengthy list of wines, beers on tap, and specialty cocktails including the Magic Hattan, Coney Negroni, Parlor Trick, Magic Mirror, Colin’s Double, Elixir, and The Sour Assistant. With an immersive theme and wonderful drinks, AbracadaBar is a great lounge to enjoy while spending time on Crescent Lake!

9. Enchanted Rose

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is home to several amazing dining and lounge locations, one of which recently saw an extensive renovation. Enchanted Rose now welcomes guests inside of an amazingly themed space that brings them directly into the Disney animated classic Beauty and the Beast. The lounge features four different indoor and outdoor spaces inspired by the film and fully decorated with opulent and beautiful touches. Guests are sure to love dining on decadent starters such as Crab and Gnocchetti Gratin, Truffle Fries, and White Sturgeon Caviar which are served nightly in addition to specialty cocktails such as the Lavender Fog, Island Rose, Floral Bitter Beauty, Sunny Margarita, Old Fashioned, French 75, French Rose, and Grand Cosmopolitan.

10. The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge

A great lounge location in Disney’s Hollywood Studios combines an outdoor atmosphere with delicious beverages and menu options. The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is located at the end of Hollywood Boulevard and offers guests a wonderful spot just off the beaten path where they can enjoy both the men as well as the ambiance of the surrounding area. In addition to menu items from the restaurant itself including Our Famous Cobb Salad, Shrimp Cocktail, Filet Mignon Sliders, Grapefruit Cake, and Espresso Cheesecake, guests can order up specialty cocktails including a Bloody Mary, Classic Vodka Martini, Hollywood Manhattan, Gin Mule, Absinthe Minded, Whiskey Sour, and Grapefruit Cake Martini. The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is the perfect location to sit back and take in the ambiance of the Disney Park while enjoying a delicious beverage!
