Sorry Popcorn Buckets, This Typhoon Lagoon Sipper Could Be the Hit of the Summer

H2O After Hours events are returning to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon this year after a three-year hiatus! The event has some changes from when it was last hosted in 2019, including an array of brand new specialty food and beverage items, including an adorable Miss Tilly sipper.

Disney’s foodie guide for the water park’s after-hours events is quite extensive, with sweet and savory options as well as multiple concoctions of cocktails and mocktails, plus new spins on classic treats like Mickey Waffles, DOLE Whips, and more.

Rainbow Salted Mickey Pretzels with Party Cheese are among new takes on iconic Disney food, and these adorable treats can be picked up throughout the event at Lowtide Lou’s. This quick service stand will also be serving churros with neon icing and a variety of Coladas (that can be ordered in the Miss Tilly souvenir sipper!)

The Miss Tilly Sipper can be purchased with a number of drink options at different locations around the park, while supplies last including:

• Tropical Gusher at the Tropicalamity Cart
• Pina Colada or Strawberry Colada at Low Tide Lou’s
• Pina Colada and Tropical Storm at Leaning Palms
• Geyser Lemonade at Typhoon Tilly’s

More savory eats can be found at Leaning Palms, the water park’s quick service location that is popular with day Guests. Among H2O Glow Night specials at Leaning Palms are the ManGLOW (Mango) Barbeque Chicken and Waffles, made with Mango barbecue chicken wings and rainbow Mickey waffles with purple cabbage slaw, mango chutney, and Sriracha honey butter.

And what would an after-hours event be without desserts and cocktails? Snack Shack has the Pineapple ManGLOW Mai Tai, a mix of DOLE Whip Mango and Lime swirled with a mai tai and Meyer’s Original Dark Rum served in a whole pineapple (think Lapu Lapu, but with DOLE Whip!).

This location is also serving a variety of ice creams and sundaes including the (We Don’t Talk About) The Bruno Cone, which features DOLE Whip Lime with Bruno’s “candy vision” served in a dipped waffle cone and a chocolate rat along his back. This is the first snack inspired by Encanto (2021) outside of the outdoor kitchen at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, so hopefully, it’s a sign of more Encanto to come in the parks!

This list only scratches the service of all of the new food and beverage items available at H2O Glow Nights (you’ll need to experience the event multiple times if you are hoping to try everything!) The most popular item though, given the rush for past sippers and popcorn buckets at Walt Disney World, is sure to be the Miss Tilly Souvenir Sipper.

Everything available at the event is subject to change and available while supplies last, so if the sipper is a must-have for you, you may want to pick one up early on during the evening.
