One of the best parts of a Walt Disney World vacation is all the delicious snacks you get to try while visiting.
The question becomes, which snacks do you choose? With so many to choose from and such little time, we have a quick list of top snacks everyone should try during their Walt Disney World vacation.
Mickey Bar
Throughout all four Theme Parks and all of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Guests can find the iconic Mickey Bar.
This ice cream bar is a classic Disney treat and one that should be experienced each and every vacation.
A basic bar of vanilla ice cream covered in chocolate, this treat is one that we look forward to enjoying in front of the castle each vacation.
Find Mickey bars at all of the snack carts in a Disney Park, as well as the freezer section of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
Dole Whip
One of the most talked about treats in Walt Disney World is Dole Whip.
This treat has become a staple when it comes to Walt Disney World snacks, and it has been fun as the flavors and choices have expanded over time.
You can find a classic pineapple Dole Whip in Magic Kingdom at Aloha Isle in Adventureland, at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort at Pineapple Lanai, and at Marketplace Snacks over at Disney Springs.
Even though we recommend trying the classic pineapple Dole Whip at least once while in Walt Disney World, we are also fans of many of the other flavors. Try out coconut, swirls, floats, and more.
Don’t forget to Mobile Order your Dole Whip, though, because lines in Magic Kingdom can get extremely long!
Popcorn
Yes, we know that popcorn is a basic snack that you can get anywhere, but we truly believe there is something magical about Walt Disney World popcorn.
You can find (and smell) this buttery deliciousness throughout all four Theme Parks, as there are popcorn carts scattered everywhere.
If you are a fan like we are of popcorn, consider purchasing a popcorn bucket for your trip that allows you to get $2 refills throughout your vacation.
This also works at select specialty spots like the maple popcorn in EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion.
Don’t overlook this classic, but delicious, treat!
Cupcakes
At Walt Disney World, you can find cupcakes for every occasion, and we love it.
If you are visiting during a holiday, be on the lookout for new seasonal offerings. Right now, there are cupcakes that celebrate the 50th Anniversary!
Disney brings cupcakes in all shapes, sizes, and flavors, so check out the bakery cases to find a delicious option just for you.
Mickey Pretzel/Waffle
We are going to put these two together to allow you to choose which Mickey shape treat you will want.
A Walt Disney World vacation isn’t complete without enjoying a Mickey shaped treat, and two of our favorites, after the Mickey bar, are the Mickey waffles and the Mickey pretzels.
Mickey pretzels can be found throughout the Theme Parks in snack carts. They are warm and delicious, and you can even dip them in cheese for some additional fun.
Mickey waffles are a little more difficult to find throughout the Theme Parks, but our favorite spot is in Magic Kingdom at Sleepy Hollow. There you can get a Mickey waffle with either strawberries or powdered sugar. They are a great way to start the mornings!
Cinnamon Roll
Another outstanding way to start the morning is with a warm and gooey cinnamon roll.
In Magic Kingdom, we enjoy getting a large cinnamon roll from Gaston’s Tavern. Don’t forget to ask for extra frosting for some additional goodness.
Our other favorite spot to grab a cinnamon roll is in Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery. Here we order the colossal cinnamon roll that is shaped like Mickey. Basically, it is two small cinnamon rolls and one larger one. This is fantastic for sharing.
Cinnamon rolls are a great way to start the day in a Theme Park.
This snack might be for more of a select audience, but it is so good we had to have it on the list.
Over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at 50’s Prime Time Cafe, we love the Peanut Butter and Jelly Shake.
You can get this amazing shake as part of your meal while enjoying 50’s Prime Time Cafe, or you can pop into Tune-in Lounge for a shake to go.
We love walking around Disney’s Hollywood Studios while enjoying this shake that is the perfect combination of peanut butter and jelly!
If you haven’t given it a try, we highly recommend doing so on your next vacation.
Corn Dog Nuggets
Most of the snacks we have mentioned are sweet ones, but the corn dog nuggets from Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom are our top pick when it comes to savory snacks in Walt Disney World.
Even though these don’t seem overly impressive, they are so good! The batter is the perfect sweet touch to mix with the hot dog.
Try dipping them in cheese sauce for an additional delight.
There are so many outstanding treats to choose from on your Walt Disney World vacation. We hope that this list will help you narrow down your options for what snacks you want to try while you are at Walt Disney World.
