VIDEO: Young Guest Stumps Crush With Birds and the Bees Question

Turtle Talk with Crush is an interactive experience located at Disneyland Park and Walt Disney World Resort. During the attraction, Guests have the opportunity to converse with the adorable sea turtle from Finding Nemo (2003).

This free-flowing setup provides an open, unrestricted forum where you never know what you’ll get when it comes to the audience’s queries. Such was the case a couple of days ago at Disneyland Resort when a young audience member posed quite an interesting question to the unprepared turtle.

In an adorable and innocent moment caught on camera, the young girl asked Crush, “How do you get your kids?” A couple seconds of humorous silence follow as Crush looks completely stumped on how he will answer.

A slight giggle can suddenly be heard in the previously quiet room as Crush finally responds after staring blankly into space. He stutters, “Um, like, what do you mean?”

The little girl poses the same question again, attempting to clarify her meaning with different wording. After some time to ponder his response, Crush replies with a hilarious answer.

After explaining that his kids come from eggs buried on the beach, he then gives a detailed list of all of his children’s names in an effort to change the subject and distract from the question.

The rant continues for over a minute delighting the audience as they smile through his epic response. The video ends with Crush asking the little girl if she has siblings, to which she replies that she has two.

It’s adorable, impromptu moments like these that create lasting memories at the Parks. Hats off to the Disney Cast Member voicing Crush that day and the amusing way he responded to what could have been an uncomfortable moment.
