Located in Disneyland Park’s festive New Orleans Square, the Haunted Mansion is a coveted attraction for visitors seeking a ghostly thrill. Every year (except for 2020 due to COVID-19), the ride closes down for a few weeks, while it transforms into the even more sinister Halloween Town.
Based on the movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), the retheme provides an immersive experience for fans of the quirky tale. With larger-than-life appearances from the movie’s main characters: Jack Skellington, Zero, Sally, and Oogie Boogie, this attraction always gets Guests into the spirit of the season.
Other rides revamped at Disneyland Resort for Halloween Time include Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission BREAKOUT!, Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters, and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree.
