According to Disney’s official website and the My Disney Experience app, both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT have extended their Park hours to 1:00 a.m. for New Year’s Eve on December 31, 2022. The two theme parks were previously scheduled to close at 12:00 a.m., with countdowns beginning at midnight as well.
Park hours have not changed for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which is still listed with a 12:00 a.m. closing, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which is set to close at 8:00 p.m.

Both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT offer additional entertainment on New Year’s Eve, in addition to countdowns to the New Year during their nighttime fireworks spectaculars of Disney Enchantment and Harmonius. From live bands to DJs, and even in years past, a silent disco, both Parks will have plenty to do until the New Year on December 31.
As for theme park reservations, both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT are already booked solid for New Year’s Eve, so Guests who have not yet made reservations will want to spend the day in either Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
You can always check current theme park reservation availability on Disney’s official website, and find entertainment listed during your trip to any of the Parks on the My Disney Experience app.
