We Finally Know What’s in Disney’s New $5,000 Drink!

Kaiburr Crystal Cocktail

The Disney Wish, the newest ship to launch from Disney Cruise Line is just wrapping up its first sail, and one of the highlights at least for those of us following along on social media, was the introduction of a $5,000 cocktail.

The Kaiburr Crystal, served in the ship’s new Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge, comes in at the high price point of $5K, and while the Camtano container it is served in is quite impressive, especially with the smoke effect, many fans initially had difficulty processing the price tag.

Even stranger, was the fact that the Kaiburr Crystal cocktail was debuted during the media sailing of the Disney Wish with the menu only describing the drink as “the galaxy’s rarest and most valuable cocktail.” And, when press aboard the ship inquired as to what is actually in the drink, they were initially not given answers.

Fans initially speculated that the drink might include Remy Martin Louis XIII cognac which retails for about $4,000 per bottle and is part of one of the most expensive cocktails at Walt Disney World, a $137 cocktail to be exact found at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

After a couple of days, theme park journalist Scott Gustin finally learned what the Kaiburr Crystal cocktail actually consists of, and he shared some of his detective work to Twitter:

As Gustin notes, the Kaiburr Crystal actually has four components, the cocktail and three shots with Camus Cognac 4.16 with Yuzu and Kumquat, and Grand Marnier Quintessence making up the cocktail and shots of Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 23 Year bourbon, Taylor’s Kingsman Edition Very Old Tawny Port, and Watenshi gin.

On top of the pricey liquours, the cocktail truly comes with its own experience. While Guests cannot keep the Camtano, they do get to keep the four glasses along with an assortment of Star Wars items like a backpack, water bottle, and room decoration, as well as a bottle of sparkling wine from Skywalker Ranch.

Perhaps the most interesting element of this drink though, is the experiences that would actually follow your entire cruise if you choose to order it. Each Kaiburr Crystal cocktail comes with one voucher to visit Skywalker Ranch in Nicasio, CA (which is not open to the public) as well as a special themed escort off of the Disney Wish at the conclusion of your cruise.

Now that we know all of the components of Disney’s most expensive drink to date, would you be willing to order one?
