Disney Parks and Resorts can be done on a budget, but they are also known for their splurge-worthy experiences available only to those Guests who are willing to break the bank.

Believe it or not, ordering a cocktail can actually be one of the priciest Disney experiences. Whether you opt for one of EPCOT’s $18 margaritas or the elusive $137 cocktail at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, there are plenty of ways to fill your beverage budget rather quickly on a Walt Disney World vacation.

What about Disney vacations at sea? Disney Cruise Line just christened its newest ship, the Disney Wish, and with its launch comes all-new areas for kids, teens and tweens, adults, and families, breathtaking new accommodations, and Disney’s most expensive cocktail to date.

The Kaiburr Crystal cocktail served at the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge aboard the Disney Wish is priced at $5,000.

Theme park journalist Ashley Carter shared a video of the cocktail on Twitter:

The drink, which is served in a Camtono (which Star Wars fans may recognize from Star Wars: Episode V- The Empire Strikes Back (1980) or The Mandalorian (2019) on Disney+) and is desribed by the lounge’s menu as “The galaxy’s rarest and most valuable cocktail.”

The Camtono that holds the drink releases smoke as the doors are open to reach the cocktail itself, which aside from the obvious “cool factor” in the Star Wars setting has become a trendy way to serve high end drinks in recent years,

Ingredients for the cocktail are not listed on the menu at Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge, but given the small size of the glass for the price, Business Insider has pointed out that it likely includes a high-end liquour like Remy Martin Louis XIII cognac which retails for about $4,000 per bottle.

While the new Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge looks like an awesome addition to Disney Cruise Line’s bar and lounge lineup, fans are understandably shocked by the cost of the Kaiburr Crystal drink.

The rest of the menu features drinks comparable to other Disney bars, with some interesting concoctions similar to what Guests might find in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

Would you try the $5,000 Kairburr Crystal drink on your next Disney Cruise Line? At the same cost as a cruise aboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (for two nights with at least two adults) we find it hard to justify ourselves, but it is fascinating nonetheless.
