Guests who visit Walt Disney World spend lots of time in the four theme parks enjoying attractions, exploring themed areas, and meeting characters. In addition to the theme parks, there is an area in Walt Disney World where guests can shop to their heart’s content, enjoy amazing meals and entertainment, and relax with unique cocktails in fun environments. Disney Springs is the ultimate place to enjoy some shopping and dining while on a Disney vacation and there are plenty of options for the whole family to enjoy. With so many amazing things to see, there are certainly some must dos that can’t be skipped when visiting Disney Springs including shopping and dining. Guests should be sure to leave plenty of time to enjoy Disney Springs and explore each one of these must see experiences! Guests haven’t truly done Disney Springs until they have done these seven things.

8. World of Disney Store –
Located in the heart of Disney Springs is the largest Disney Store in the entire world! The World of Disney Store is a sprawling mecca of all things Disney and is subdivided into many different rooms which each focus on a specific type of merchandise. Guests can browse through men and woman’s clothing, housewares, jewelry, toys, holiday merchandise, and accessories while wandering through the massive store. There are items that can be found in the World of Disney Store that can’t be found anywhere else and it is the best place to find that perfect souvenir or keepsake from a Disney vacation.
7. Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar –
One of the newest locations added to Disney Springs evokes a familiar character from the Indiana Jones film series. Jock Lindsey was Indy’s pilot and his former residence in Disney Springs has been turned into an airport hangar styled bar. Guests at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar can enjoy a wonderful atmosphere full of interesting aviary props and dine on quirky named items off the menu including Brody’s Brats and Rolling Boulders Sliders. Guests can also sip on unique cocktails with Indiana Jones inspired names like the Scottish Professor, Bitter Barkeep, Fountain of Youth, and Shorty’s Singapore Sling.
5. Once Upon A Toy –
A shopping location in Disney Springs that is sure to have the perfect items for kids and kids at heart is the Once Upon A Toy Store. Guests can wander through this massive store and select toys including board games, stuffed animals, video games, puzzles, and figurines. Guests can find items here which can’t be found elsewhere and should definitely stop in while enjoying Disney Springs.
4. Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant –
A popular restaurant in Disney Springs which shouldn’t be missed is the Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant. The location invites guests into a traditional Irish pub where Irish Step Dancers and a live band are constantly performing and the atmosphere can’t be beat. Guests who visit for lunch and dinner can enjoy options like the Raglan Risotto, Braised Be Beef, Sod the Stew, Lambo, and Keen Eye for the Shepard’s Pie. Guests should also make sure that they save some room for the delicious Ger’s Bread & Butter Pudding!

3. Ghiradelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop –
Guests who have a sweet tooth and are visiting Disney Springs should definitely stop and spend some time at the Ghiradelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop. There guests can order up ice cream treats including The Golden Gate Banana Split, The Ghiradelli Square World Famous Hot Fudge Sundae, Espresso Escape, Thick Shake or Malt, and regular soft serve scoops of ice cream. With so many amazing options to choose from, guests looking to enjoy some ice cream will have a hard time choosing just one thing off the menu!
2. The Boathouse –
A favorite restaurant of many guests who visit Disney Spring is The Boathouse which is situated right on the lake with amazing views. Guests can enjoy options for lunch and dinner including Firecracker Shrimp, Local Cedar Key Middleneck Clams, Steak Sandwich, Original Lobster Bake for Two, and Filet Mignon. In addition to the amazing menu, guests can also choose to pay an additional fee and take a ride in an amphicar which begins with wheels on land and suddenly takes to the water as a boat!

Guests who love getting into the spirit of the holidays and celebrating Christmas should definitely visit Disney’s Days of Christmas while enjoying time in Disney Springs. In the store, every day is Christmas and festive carols constantly play while guests can browse ornaments, Christmas décor, and plenty of holiday items. Guests can even enjoy having their purchases customized to make for an amazing personal souvenir from a Walt Disney World vacation.
