Oogie Boogie Bash has only been underway for a few short days, and Disney is already sweeping fans off their feet! Two brand new characters have been spotted around Disneyland Park, and they are quite a sight to behold.
Coco (2017) fans will be ecstatic when they learn who was on hand to entertain Guests on stage at Disney California Adventure Park! The villainous Ernesto de la Cruz made a surprise appearance, dressed up in his iconic white attire, complete with a tremendous-looking mask.

His setup looked spectacular as the musical antagonist serenaded Guests with his guitar. The meet-and-greet places de la cruz on a stage decked out to mirror iconic scenes from the film. A staircase sits in the background, while flowers adorn the foreground.
Guests were blown away by the visuals, with some thinking the villain was actually an animatronic! Needless to say, we’ve never seen anything quite like this before when it comes to a meet-and-greet. The scene was quite stunning, and to top it off, the character performed a beloved song from the movie “Remember Me.”
As if this unexpected sighting wasn’t enough to delight Guests, another brand new meet-and-greet put the cherry on top of an already epic event. A couple of days ago, we shared that a backdrop for an Encanto (2021) themed interaction was spotted near Grizzly River Run in Disney California Adventure Park.
We were excited to anticipate what the character would look like. Well, we’ve got good news! Guests have been sharing images of the quirky uncle who inspired the song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno!” all over social media.

Bruno is a beloved character from Encanto, who remains a mystery for the first half of the film. As the movie progresses, viewers realize his story is crucial to the plot. We are so excited to see that Disney has pulled out all the stops for this year’s Halloween soirée.
