9 Best Restaurants To Get Seafood At Walt Disney World

Searching for the best seafood spots to complete your dinner reservations? The Walt Disney World Resort is certainly not advertised as a destination for seafood, but there are actually a number of restaurants where fresh seafood dishes make up the bulk of the menu, and they are often accompanied by waterfront views. Keep reading to discover some of our picks for the best seafood restaurants at Walt Disney World:

1. Narcoossee’s

For the seafood lover who is looking to break for dinner from the Magic Kingdom, Narcoossee’s offers the perfect escape. Located right on the monorail loop at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, this waterfront restaurant strikes a perfect balance of steak and seafood with menu items featuring filet mignon, Maine Lobster, swordfish, salmon, shrimp, and more. If you happen to save room for dessert, this location also offers such treats as a coconut chocolate crème brulee and an apple cinnamon tart.

2. Flying Fish

Located on Disney’s Boardwalk, Flying Fish is home to premium sustainable seafood along with an array of steaks. The fresh seafood offerings here are more unique than many other Disney restaurants with items like grouper, flounder, trout, and mahi-mahi, and the location along the iconic Boardwalk area makes this a perfect night out for guests looking for quality seafood.

3. The Boathouse

The Boathouse, located in the Landing at Disney Springs, is home to the most quintessential waterfront seafood dinner experience at the Walt Disney World Resort. With the restaurant’s indoor and outdoor seating, and the Dockside Bar which also overlooks the water, and the Amphicar tours of Disney Springs, Th Boathouse is an ideal setting for enjoying fresh seafood. This restaurant also houses a gorgeous raw bar with oysters, shrimp, and lobster, and a loaded menu featuring everything from fish tacos to a lobster bake for two.

4. Coral Reef Restaurant

Another restaurant where the atmosphere cannot be beat is Coral Reef Restaurant in Epcot’s Future World. The menu features the classics like grilled salmon and shrimp and grits, along with harder to find dishes like a rare tuna bowl and charred octopus. As one of the most affordable locations on this list, it’s also a great value given the lower price points and dinner with a view of about 4,000 sea creatures as the dining area surrounds a portion of the Seas’ giant tank.

5. Paddlefish

Appropriately located aboard the paddleboat in Disney Springs, Paddlefish offers plenty of variety for guests looking to get their seafood fix while vacationing in Walt Disney World. The menu covers a variety of seafood boils, based on New England (lobster) and South of the Border (peel and eat shrimp) styles among others along with standouts like lobster guacamole made tableside and catfish.

6. Yachtsman Steakhouse

Thought best known for its steaks, the Yachtsman Steakhouse over at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort has plenty of memorable seafood options as well. The lobster bisque is always a great start to any meal here though the real seafood lover’s paradise comes with the Yachtsman Seafood Plateau for Two which includes Maine Lobster, crab cake, Oysters Rockefeller, shrimp cocktail, sliced octopus, snapper ceviche, and mussels.

7. The Wave

Contemporary American cuisine takes center stage at this restaurant which is not surprisingly located on the first floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. While not exclusively a “seafood” restaurant, the Wave’s focus on fresh and natural menu items makes its sustainable fish entrée a highlight of the menu as it is complimented by fresh veggies and a lobster-brandy cream sauce.

8. Cape May Café

Seafood buffets have been going out of style in recent years, but guests visiting Disney’s Beach Club Resort can still find one at Cape May Café. The delicious seafood chowder and chilled marinated shrimp are available for dinner daily, while other seafood options vary by day of the week and may include mussels, clam strips, snow crab legs, fried shrimp, calamari, and more. (Note that if you are planning on character dining at Cape May Café, you’ll want to come by for breakfast instead of dinner).

9. California Grill

The only restaurant with better views than the waterfront spots on this list may be found at the top of the Contemporary Resort at California Grill. With sweeping views of Seven Seas Lagoon and the Magic Kingdom, this restaurant is not only a prime spot for seafood (and sushi specifically) lovers, but it’s also an ideal place to take in the fireworks. Swordfish and scallops are available for dinner in addition to the renowned sushi rolls, and it’s another spot where if you can save some room for dessert you’ll find that it’s well worth it for warm chocolate cake and blueberry cheesecake.
