1. Dole Whip

One of the most popular snacks in all of Walt Disney World, the Dole Whip can be found in the Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland at Aloha Isle as well as a couple of resorts and other theme parks. Combining Dole pineapple juice and either pineapple ice cream, vanilla, or a combination of the two this is a perfectly sweet and cold treat for those hot afternoons in the park. This treat is so popular that it is not uncommon to see a pretty long line for the counter service location, so be prepared to wait for this delicious snack.

2. Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar

This classic ice cream treat features vanilla ice cream encased in a chocolate shell shaped like the mouse himself. Guests can find it at almost every snack cart located in all four parks and also at each Disney Resort. It’s a perfect snack to cool down with on those hot days and while there is enough to share guests might not want to!

3. Kitchen Sink

For those ice cream fanatics out there, a stop at the Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort is a must. While the location offers up classic diner foods like burgers and melts, the ice cream is the star. The ultimate ice cream treat offered here is the Kitchen Sink which is advertised as big enough to serve four and features vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, coffee, and mint chocolate chip ice cream and every single topping the place has. Just be sure to wear some loose clothes because this sundae is nothing to mess with!

4. Smore’s Cupcake

The Smore’s Cupcake is a decadent treat that can be found at Roaring Fork the quick service dining location at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort. Featuring a graham cracker cake, chocolate filling, marshmallow frosting, and a chocolate piece on top, this is the ultimate update to the fireside classic and a must have for every smore’s fan.

5. Popcorn

There is no food as classic in Walt Disney World as a bucket of popcorn on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. The smell alone is enough to draw any guest in and the salty buttery goodness has everyone going back for more. Popcorn on Main Street is best enjoyed while sitting on the curb and enjoying an afternoon parade!

6. Turkey Leg

Another Disney snack that has a fan club level following, there are even t-shirts sold in some of the gift stores that feature turkey legs! Offered up at a food cart in the Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland along the Rivers of America, this snack is a whopper in size and can definitely be shared. The smell alone is enough to entice anyone to this food cart, and once you try a turkey leg you’ll never stop loving them!

From ice cream sundaes fit for a king to salty popcorn on the curb of Main Street, there are plenty of foods that Walt Disney World is famous for and that shouldn’t be missed! Happy eating!

About Caitlin Kane

Caitlin Kane first started visiting Walt Disney World when she was two years old, and despite spending most of that trip quarantined with the chicken pox she managed to fall in love with the place. Visiting WDW every year since, she especially loves learning all about the history and small details of the parks and eating/drinking her way through the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival each fall. When she's not in Disney, Caitlin lives in New York and spends her time counting down the days to her next trip.
