4. Epcot International Food & Wine Festival –
Each fall, Epcot plays host to a festival which is sure to thrill any food lover out there! The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival celebrates cultures and cuisines from all over the world with over thirty Global Marketplaces that each serve up various food and drink options. Guests can easily spend several afternoons simply exploring World Showcase and stopping at all of the booths to enjoy culinary delights from around the world. In addition to the Global Marketplaces, guests can also celebrate the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival by watching a concert in the Eat to the Beat concert series, shopping for exclusive merchandise in the Festival Center, partaking in a tasting or pairing event, or enjoying a culinary demonstration. 3. Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival –
In the spring, Epcot also plays host to a festival which celebrates the beauty of nature through vibrant displays. The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival takes place throughout the entire park and celebrates with dozens of topiaries modeled after Disney characters and thousands of flowers planted in colorful beds and arrangements. In addition to enjoying the beautiful flowers and topiaries, guests can enjoy gardening demonstrations and displays, shop in the Festival Center, sample food and drink options from Outdoor Kitchens, and enjoy concerts in a series of musical celebrations. 2. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party –
The Magic Kingdom is one of the most beloved and iconic Disney Parks, and each fall transforms into a Halloween wonderland. On select nights each fall the Magic Kingdom is host to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party which brings the fun and spookiness of Halloween to Disney. Requiring an additional ticket for entry, the party invites guests to trick or treat throughout the park, enjoy special character meet and greets, dress up in creative costumes, and munch on exclusive snacks and beverages. In addition, guests who visit Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party can enjoy exclusive entertainment with the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular stage show in front of Cinderella Castle, Mickey’s “Boo-To-You” Halloween Parade which features all of the characters decked out in their Halloween costumes, and Happy HalloWishes which turns the night sky above Cinderella Castle into a spectacular all hallows eve celebration. Christmas is one of the most magical times of the year, and the Walt Disney World Resort is no exception. Each holiday season, the theme parks and resorts are decked out in their holiday finest to help ring in the season. Guests who are fans of Christmas should be sure to purchase an additional ticket and attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The party includes special experiences like dance parties, character meet and greets, complimentary hot chocolate and cookies, and the Castle Dream Lights which transform Cinderella Castle into a beautiful sparkling icicle.
