Take a step out of Florida and into the United Kingdom with the amazing dining experience that is Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room. Our family has enjoyed dining at the location many times and we will definitely continue coming back time and time again. We love the authentic United Kingdom feel and atmosphere of the restaurant and the beautiful dining location. Here are the 6 things that we love and feel you will love, too, about Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room:

6. The full-service pub

Need I say more? You can get traditional ciders, ales, scotches and signature cocktails as this authentic pub location. In the evenings, there is also an amazing musician there to liven up the party and entertain you as you wait for Illuminations and enjoy your adult beverages. This is the spot to hang out and take it easy in the World Showcase when you get a break from the kids!

5. Indoor and outdoor seating options

The dining room for Rose & Crown is broken into different sections. You have the indoor section which is decorated beautifully with classic decor and a warm, welcoming fireplace. You also have the awe-worthy outdoor location that sits on the water of the lagoon that gives you amazing views of the other countries on the World Showcase. This is definitely the preferred location during the evening or nice days when it’s enjoyable to dine outside.

4. The views of Epcot Forever

Remember the amazing outdoor seating locations that I mentioned? Well this creates a prime viewing location to view Epcot Forever, the nighttime firework show at Epcot. You can have the ability to sit and enjoy the experience with a more personal space and without the crowds of people blocking your view. These seats are hard to come by and there is no guarantee that you will be able to get them, but it is worth trying to time out your reservation and ask the host cast members if you can request an outdoor table against the water.

3. The location to the International Gateway

Epcot has a second entrance to the park called the International Gateway. This entrance puts you entering the Park between the United Kingdom and France Pavilions. The close vicinity to the United Kingdom, makes it extremely close to Rose & Crown. If you are staying at an Epcot area resort, coming from the Boardwalk or coming from Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you access this entrance via the waterway by boat and it makes it a quick location to catch without having to go very far into the park, and hop back over to the destination where you were at. We have done this a few times from the Studios to break away for dining and it doesn’t cost a ton of time, plus we love the boat ride.

2. The amazing service (and British accents)

All of the cast members at the location are originally from British countries. They have stories, history and experiences that they can share from their own hometown/country, and it is really interesting. We have always had amazing service, learned a few new words for common things and met really cool cast members. We love getting to know the cast members in the World Showcase and hearing the amazing British accent that we all love!

1. The delicious, traditional fare

This location definitely has all of the United Kingdom favorites that you would expect to find. I have the hardest time deciding between the Bangers & Mash, Shepherd’s Pie and the Fish & Chips. They are all delicious and the Fish & Chips are some of the best around. This is a location that we make sure to save room for so that we can enjoy all of our favorites and save room for dessert. The Jaffa Tarts and the Toffee Pudding are amazing and we must get every time! The food will definitely have you wanting to come back for more!

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
