7. Disney Resorts –

One of the best parts of a Walt Disney World vacation is being able to enjoy the Disney Resorts. With over twenty options to choose from, they are divided into three categories with Deluxe being the most expensive, Value being the most reasonable, and Moderate falling somewhere in the middle. Having three categories makes them affordable for every guest and no matter what category a Disney Resort falls into, it features an amazing theme, amenities, pools, recreation, dining, and shopping for guests to enjoy.

6. The Mountains –

One experience that every guest has to enjoy on a Disney vacation is conquering the mountains. Walt Disney World is home to a unique mountain range spanned across two parks. In the Magic Kingdom there is Splash Mountain in Frontierland which invites guests on an adventure with Br’er Rabbit that culminates with a thrilling dive into the Briar Patch. Located right next door is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad which brings guests into the town of Tumbleweed for the wildest ride in the wilderness on a runaway train. In New Fantasyland is the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train which allows guests to explore the mines where the Seven Dwarfs work while enjoying beautiful views of nearby Fantasyland and Storybook Circus. Finally in the Magic Kingdom is Space Mountain in Tomorrowland which blasts guests off into the galaxy for a thrilling adventure in near darkness. The final mountain in Walt Disney World can be found in the Asia section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom and sends guests deep into mythical territory. Expedition Everest begins as a serene tea train ride but soon turns thrilling as guests find themselves deep inside the Forbidden Mountain and face to face with the fabled Yeti.

About Caitlin Kane

Caitlin Kane first started visiting Walt Disney World when she was two years old, and despite spending most of that trip quarantined with the chicken pox she managed to fall in love with the place. Visiting WDW every year since, she especially loves learning all about the history and small details of the parks and eating/drinking her way through the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival each fall. When she's not in Disney, Caitlin lives in New York and spends her time counting down the days to her next trip.
