1. Summer Style

Decorated in simple wood trims, long windows that capture the light, and comfortable seating, this place invites guests into a laid back, casual, and summery atmosphere. The decorative produce crates and farm portraits give guests a sense of the importance of the fresh food and drinks served here. After a busy day at the parks or shopping, it’s a welcome retreat to enjoy a great meal in a relaxing environment.

2. Service

Warm hospitality is the key ingredient in every visit to this restaurant. Everyone from the host/hostess and servers to the bartender and manager treat customers like very special guests. The servers are extremely knowledgeable about the menu and are eager to recommend their favorite dishes.

3. Food

Let’s get to the main reason for visiting Homecoming, the food! Guests love this place for its fresh farm-to-table ingredients. It’s hard to choose from classic Southern small dishes like fried green tomatoes, hush puppies, deviled eggs, and biscuits with ham.  The main menu offers tantalizing comfort foods like the famous fried chicken and donuts, shrimp and grits, barbecue, fried catfish, and tasty meatloaf.  Grab a table in the main dining area to get a view of the open kitchen and watch your dish being prepared.

4. The Drinks

All of the drinks here are fresh and creative, and many feature moonshine. Try the Local, a delicious concoction of lime, pineapple, and coconut water rum. Another great choice is the Florida Crush, handmade with strawberries, agave syrup, Florida orange juice, and vodka. Ask for a to-go cup if you want to finish your drink as you stroll around.

5. The Bar

Just interested in a few drinks to take a break from shopping? Homecoming has both an inside and outside bar to pick from, and both are welcoming places to meet up with friends for a bite to eat and some drinks.

6. Yummy Desserts

If you have any room left after your meal, a piece of rich pecan pie or pineapple banana cake is the perfect Southern accompaniment to a meal here. Better yet, ask a slice of the scrumptious Shine Cake, a buttery recipe with moonshine syrup.

7. Perfect Location

After a long day of shopping at Disney Springs and its 110 stores, Homecoming is a great place to relax with a delicious meal and drinks. Or, after a filling dinner of delicious comfort food, what better way to walk off your meal than strolling around Disney Springs and soaking in the entertainment and shopping?

8. Porch

Don’t pass up a chance to be seated in the lovely screened-in porch, an essential part of any Southern home. It’s a wonderful shaded area for a quieter meal. Enjoy the breeze off the water and lofty ceiling fans while relaxing in comfortable wicker chairs.

Having visited Walt Disney World several times growing up, I really caught the Disney bug after many trips with my husband. Now I am happily addicted to taking our son to Walt Disney World as often as possible and watching him experience the magic and Mickey Bars as he grows up. Traveling to Walt Disney World twice a year, I enjoy attending the Flower and Garden festival held in the spring and strolling around the World Showcase, as well as exploring all of the hidden gems that all four parks have to offer. I love helping my family and friends plan their next Disney trips based on my experiences. I also enjoy reading, swimming, traveling, and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers. I grew up in Southwestern Pennsylvania, attended Shippensburg University, and current live in suburban Philadelphia with my husband, son, and two cats.
