Disney Fans Could ‘Watch This All Day’ at Walt Disney World!

Disney Parks posted a captivating video of a talented Disney Cast Member creating a glass-blown Mickey! The video has thousands of views on TikTok, with fans obsessed with the unique, creation-making process.

The video starts with the Cast Member lighting up his equipment at a shop in Walt Disney World Resort. With protective glasses but no gloves, he adjusts the fire to the perfect temperature and strength for the project.

With tools lying all around him, he reaches for a plain, elongated piece of glass. He applies the glass wand to the fire, creating a perfectly round shape at the end, as he turns it into red and blue flames.

He then spins the ball in a contraption containing several circular forms, possibly cooling it down and perfecting its shape. Then it’s back to the fire, where he uses another glass wand to add pieces to what will soon become Mickey’s head!

The artist continues applying glass and tinkering with the shapes to create unbelievably intricate details perfectly precise in form. Before you know it, Mickey’s recognizable face has already taken shape, complete with eyes, a nose, and a mouth!

Then, it’s time to add the ears. The Disney artist applies two, round, black shapes to either side of Mickey’s head, completing the face before moving on to the body.

We don’t get to see as many details regarding the figure portion of the art piece, except for some bends and color alterations in the wand beneath Mickey’s head. Next thing we know, the Disney Cast Member has a body all finished and ready to attach to the portion he’s been working on.

He continues turning the glass in the fire before showing us an almost completed version of the character. Lastly, he adds hands to everyone’s favorite mouse, and he’s all finished!
