When you visit Walt Disney World, there are so many magical things all around. From the exciting rides and attractions to shows to the amazing food and drink options. There’s something for everyone in your family, and it is truly what memories are made of.

All of the Disney Parks worldwide would not run without their incredible Cast Members. They truly are the backbone of Disney, and they go out of their way to make you have the most magical trip possible.

Although there have been videos recently of Cast Members not being quite as high of standards as some may think they should have, there are still overwhelmingly more Cast Members who go out of their way for Guests.

Recently, a photo was shared of a Cast Member who did just that. Lola, who works at Be Our Guest Restaurant, showed her kindness and compassion when she helped a veteran who fell and broke his hand on the way to Disney. She is shown cutting Bob’s steak for him, and it truly touches the hearts of that family.

They shared: “We haven’t stopped talking about Lola cutting Bob’s steak for him at Be Our Guest Restaurant. He fell and broke his hand on the way to Disney but still insisted on going. Thank you, Lola! You impressed an old veteran who is hard to impress. #CastCompliment”

Thank you, Lola, for being what Disney is truly about. She showed that she would go out of her way and even what looks like a simple act of kindness meant the world to this family.

Recently it was an addition to the My Disney Experience App, where you can leave a compliment for a Cast Member. It is now extremely simple, and just taking a minute to leave a compliment for a Cast Member who made your day is a great act of kindness. Disney takes these compliments extremely seriously.
