Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Wish, has made quite a splash in the news lately, with curious onlookers hungry for details about the luxury liner. Officially setting sail on July 14, Disney Parks Blog recently shared some new information about the plethora of activities available for kids of all ages.

Children ages 3 to 12 have the most options for play, with five separate activities, each with their own Disney-infused theme. Located in Disney’s Oceaneer Club, kids can get to this location via a swirling slide, which drops them smack dab into the middle of the club!

For Marvel fans, there is Marvel Super Hero Academy. Here, kids can create their own superhero costumes and fight villains virtually.

For fans of the Star Wars franchise, there’s Star Wars: Cargo Bay. Kids will assist Rey and Chewy in saving the ship and handling some exotic creatures in what’s called the “Star Wars: Creature Challenge.”

For Disney princess lovers, there is Fairytale Hall, where there are three separate rooms with unique activities. Rapunzel’s Art Studio, Belle’s Library, and Anna and Elsa’s Sommerhus provide a flurry of entertainment for wide-eyed tykes.

Walt Disney Imagineering Lab is my favorite of all the offerings. Here, kids can invent their own roller coaster and ride it virtually in the Ride Studio. Now that sounds like a blast!

Lastly, on Mickey and Minnie Captain’s Deck, kids can take part in Minnie’s Captain Academy. This super fun training session is filled with games, dance parties, and maritime drills based on STEAM principles (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics).

For littles, 6 months to 3 years in age, Disney Wish offers It’s a Small World Nursery, which supplies babysitting services, games, crafts, movies, books, and interactions with Disney characters. For older kiddos, ages 11 to 14, there’s the New York-inspired Edge, where kids can hang out and play games with friends.

For teenagers, Vibe is a cool, Parisian-themed loft with pop art and a neon design. Here, more mature kids can watch movies, play games, and take part in different age-appropriate activities.

Disney covered all the bases when it came to creating this magnificent vessel. Parents will appreciate all the fun activities available onboard for the whole family to enjoy!
