Adult ‘Ruins’ Character Meet and Greet Experience In This Shocking Video

You probably know that Walt Disney World is rightfully named “The Most Magical Place On Earth,” but the magic was abruptly cut short for one group. One Guest’s actions interrupted a character meet and greet and ended the experience for everyone.

A Guest named Maria (user @nightmareadventures on TikTok) captured a shocking video showing another Guest’s inappropriate actions and the subsequent consequences.

Don’t be that adult that ruins a nice interaction between kids and characters because you think you’re being funny. #starwars #starwarsgalaxysedge #chewbacca #chewie #rey #reyskywalker #disneyhollywoodstudios #disneyhollywoodstudiosorlando #disneysgalaxysedge #maytheforcebewithyou #dontbeajerk #disneycharacterinteractions #disneycharacters

The video shows a group of children patiently lined up for the meet and greet with the iconic Star Wars characters Chewbacca and Rey. The face characters in question interact with each other and Guests, creating the magic the Walt Disney World Resort is known for. The camera focuses on Rey as she interacts with the audience, discussing the iconic power of Star Wars, ‘The Force.’

As the camera pans back to Chewbacca, you can see an older Guest creeping toward the face character, who cannot see her. She reaches out and touches Chewie with both hands, trying to startle the character. The Cast Member accompanying the face characters quickly guides the unruly Guest away from the actor, and Rey swiftly steps in.

“Because of that, we might have to leave the area,” she says, gesturing to the Guest, before bidding goodbye by saying, “So good to see you all” to the audience. She turns to the other face character and leads them away, saying, “C’mon Chewie, let’s get a move on. May the force be with you all!”

What happened to the unruly Guest after the incident is unclear. Although the magic of the Walt Disney World theme parks is infectious, it’s imperative to remember that an actor or actress is playing each face character. Participating in a character meet and greet is super exciting, but acting rudely or inappropriately can end the experience early for everybody.
