The Mandalorian is coming to Galaxy’s Edge

The most awaited presentation at the Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim Convention Center is happening right now – A Boundless Future: Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. Disney fans from around the world have been nervously and excitedly waiting to see what is coming to the Disney Parks around the world in the near future.

Having started with a bang, with confirmation of the return of a truly adored fireworks spectacular to Magic Kingdom Park, John Favreau was welcomed to the stage by Josh D’Amaro to announce the next thing that will be coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.  And we can confirm just exactly what is coming for Guests to enjoy from mid-November…

Jon Favreau explained that this was something that had been in the works prior to the Covid Pandemic. It would seem that the new experience would have arrived sooner than November this year; good news though is that there isn’t too much longer to wait before Star Wars fans can enjoy something else within Galaxy’s Edge.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is about to get a new resident… none other than the Mandalorian and Grogu! We believe that Guests at the Disneyland Resort will be able to find them meeting near Oga’s Cantina; after being welcomed to the stage, the Mandalorian stated that he was meant to be meeting near the much-loved destination in Galaxy’s Edge to dine and drink.

The Mandalorian and Grogu, from Star Wars The Mandalorian series on Disney Plus, look truly spectacular, and look like they will make a one-of-a-kind character meet and greet in Disneyland Park. If the Expo is anything to go by, you’ll get to have a conversation with them during your interactions in the Disney theme park. What a way to add to the experience of Galaxy’s Edge for any Star Wars fan?

Stay tuned as we find out what new experiences, attractions and characters will be making their way to the Disney Parks very soon. We’re excited to find out more from the final day of the D23 Expo.
