This Beloved Show Hasn’t Even Returned Yet, and Annual Passholder Tickets Are Already Sold Out

Disney recently announced the long-awaited return date of Fantasmic!, the open-air nighttime spectacular featuring Sorcerer Mickey and some fearsome foes.

The Hollywood Studios staple has been missing since the Walt Disney World Resort reopened during the pandemic. Now that it’s finally back, Guests simply cannot wait to watch the one-of-a-kind show.

So much so that the day it returns has already been sold out for Annual Passholders.

For those of us who cannot remember Hollywood Studios’ Fantasmic! or haven’t seen it before, here is Disney’s official description of the nighttime spectacular:

A Night When Dreams Come True

Fast asleep, Mickey Mouse dreams that he is a mighty sorcerer’s apprentice with the power to control water, color and magic. The Disney Villains—including Maleficent in the form of a towering, 40-foot-tall dragon—turn Mickey’s dream into a nightmare, but don’t underestimate the power of Mickey’s imagination!

This one-of-a-kind performance features Disney characters from movies such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), The Lion King (1994), The Little Mermaid (1989), and more! It’s no wonder why Disney fans cannot wait to get back into the stands for Fantasmic!, so much so that November 3 has sold out for Annual Passholders.

Mere hours after the announcement, Annual Passholders Park Reservations for Disney’s Hollywood Studios sold out entirely.

Although Annual Passholders cannot make reservations for November 3, it’s worth noting that Guests with single-day tickets can still make Park Reservations for Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Additionally, both Annual Passholders and standard Guests with Disney Park Hopper tickets can visit the theme Park after 2 p.m., so there are ways around November 3’s sold-out status. Guests will only be turned away from the Disney Park if Hollywood Studios hits Park capacity.
