New Details Released for the Return of Fantasmic! Dining Packages

After nearly three years of anticipation since Fantasmic! had its last performance prior to the closure of Walt Disney World at the onset of the pandemic, we finally know when the hit nighttime spectacular will return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

With the show’s return will surely come crowds as pent-up demand from Guests who have missed this iconic Disney performance will be gearing up to grab a seat at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater. One way to ensure a seat for some of Disney’s most popular shows is to book a dining package, and we are excited to share that the details for dinner and a showing of Fantasmic! have just been released.

Guests who book a dining package for Fantasmic! are able to enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at some of the Park’s most beloved restaurants before seeing the nighttime spectacular in a reserved seating area. With Fantasmic! sure to be more popular than ever before once it returns, booking a dining package is a great way to see the show without spending too much time lining up early.

Included in each Fantasmic! dining package is a prix-fixe meal with one entree plus an appetizer or dessert per person or one buffet (depending on the restaurant) with non-alcoholic beverages.

Guests using the dining package to see Fantasmic can choose from a delicious lineup of restaurants with casual dining at 50’s Prime Time Cafe, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant, and Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italian, buffet dining at Hollywood & Vine, and signature dining at The Hollywood Brown Derby.

There is one catch to booking the Fantasmic! dining package that you will want to note as you plan to see the show for the first time when it returns. In Disney’s official announcement for the return of Fantasmic! the company noted that dining packages will not be available immediately when the show reopens.

Reservations will open for Fantasmic dining packages beginning on October 26, 2022, but the packages themselves will not begin until November 30, 2022. With the show set to return on November 3, Guests attending performances in the first couple of weeks will not be able to book a dining package (and as such, if you plan to see Fantasmic! then, we recommend heading to Sunset Boulevard early to ensure you get a seat for the show.)
