Fireworks make the perfect storybook ending to an exciting day spent at any of Disney’s Parks. The nighttime spectaculars bring together original music, stunning visuals, and of course, those wondrous sparklers exploding in the sky!
Disney Resorts have various dining packages that allow Guests to take advantage of the experience, offering delicious meals at exclusive locations. Although sometimes a bit pricey, the investment makes for quite a memorable experience.
Disneyland Resort recently reinstated a coveted dining package that gives Guests breathtaking views of the fireworks show. The Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace is located above Disneyland’s original Carousel of Progress attraction.
The classic location has gone through many transitions over the years, most recently becoming Star Wars Launch Bay, which is currently temporarily unavailable. For $60 per person, Guests can reserve a table that provides them with a one-of-a-kind viewing experience.
Currently, Disneyland Forever has been entertaining Guests after dark and will continue to do so until September 1. The Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace dining package debuted at Disneyland Park in 2016 but was removed during the pandemic.
It returned to the Parks in May, much to the excitement of eager fans. Dinner includes an entrée with a side, a dessert, and unlimited soft drinks, bottled water, or hot chocolate. Guests are required to pick up their meals at the Galactic Grill.
One thing to be aware of when deciding whether to purchase this package is that fireworks at Southern California’s Theme Park can sometimes be suddenly canceled. While Anaheim doesn’t see significant storms like Walt Disney World, Disneyland has been known to pull the plug on fireworks shows for seemingly minor weather such as wind.
Unfortunately, if this occurs after you’ve already purchased a dining package, you will not be getting a refund, which does seem to put a damper on the whole experience. Although Guests are taking a chance in booking the package, the spectacular views atop this classic attraction may still make the experience worthwhile!
