Just engaged? Or simply daydreaming of a wedding at Walt Disney World? Either way, you need to check out this wedding reception that took place on Sunset Boulevard, right in front of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror!
Before we get to this incredible reception, we have to share the rest of the wedding as detailed in the Disney Weddings Blog. Bride and groom Alex and Brenden used a number of iconic venues around Walt Disney World for the event, so their wedding is loaded with inspiration.
The couple got ready for their event in rooms at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, which was conveniently located right by their ceremony venue at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion.
The Wedding Pavilion is one of the most popular venues for a Disney wedding ceremony, offering a breathtaking space with views of Cinderella Castle right at the Grand Floridian Resort. Alex and Brenden’s wedding featured an even more elegant take on this classic venue with floral garland adoring the altar table.
After the ceremony, the couple took part in a grand exit fit for a Disney Princess. The two left the Wedding Pavilion and walked down the resort’s picturesque walkway for a petal toss with their Guests, followed by a ride in none other than the Cinderella Coach.
For dinner, the couple whisked their Guests away to EPCOT where they were all able to watch Harmonious alongside some delicious eats at the Terrace des Fleurs. This location near the France pavilion in World Showcase offers an incredible view of the nightly fireworks spectacular, but for Alex and Brenden, it was important that dinner come with some of the best food available for their Guests, too.
Groom Brenden shared:
Some of our favorite food items we had were the Caesar salad with Mickey croutons (of course!), beef short ribs, bacon wrapped scallops, mini lobster clubs, risotto, Mickey pretzels, a poutine bar, and Mickey novelty ice cream bars just to name a few!
After dinner, it was on to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The couple then hosted their Guests for a special after party right on Sunset Boulevard. The event was complete with themed actors roaming alongside Guests and sweet and savory late-night snacks.
The couple even noted that one of their favorite parts of the event was seeing their Guests’ reactions as they turned down Sunset Boulevard for this special ending to their magical Disney wedding.
