The Newest Disney Cruise Line Merchandise is Fit for a Princess

Disney Cruise Line is getting ready to launch its newest ship next month, and the latest merchandise collection coming to the Disney Wish is fit for a princess!

Cinderella takes center stage on the new cruise ship, with a gorgeous bronze statue of the iconic Disney Princess in the Grand Hall. The new collection was designed by artist Ashley Taylor, and the styles blend Cinderella’s classic looks with modern takes for the present-day princess.

The Disney Parks Blog just shared a first look at concept art for the new collection and you simply have to see it:

The merchandise in the new collection will take its cues from the 1950 Disney animated film with motifs made up of pumpkins, glass slippers, and lots of sparkles. Taylor shared that during the design process she was inspired by lots of the music from Cinderella:

Cinderella is one of my favorite Disney princesses! For this collection, I wanted to capture the dreaminess of the song ‘A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes.’ Cinderella catching a wishing star and making a wish in the Grand Hall.

When the collection is available, Guests will be able to find Taylor’s gorgeous designs on clothing, coasters, and accessories. The new Cinderella merchandise will be sold in the new exclusive shopping district aboard the Disney Wish beginning with her initial sailings next month.

The newest ship coming to Disney Cruise Line, the Disney Wish sets sail out of Port Canaveral for her maiden voyage on July 14, 2022. She is currently en route to her new departure port following a maritime delivery ceremony last week.

The Disney Wish features all of the features and top-notch Guest service fans have come to expect from Disney Cruise Line along with new areas designed exclusively for kids, teens, and families, as well as reimagined takes on live performances created just for the newest ship.
