ClickOrlando shared that the Disney Dream just departed Port Canaveral for its final sail out of this port and that after its current cruise the Dream will move to its new departure location in Miami.

Capt. John Murray, Port Canaveral CEO, said, “So, it’s heading down to Miami, and next year, it’s going to Europe – so that ship probably won’t be back for a while. It’s been a long stay since she was delivered about 10 years ago.”

After the Disney Dream’s stint in Miami, the ship has some very exciting itineraries planned on the horizon for 2023. The Dream will move to Europe next year, where she will sail out of Barcelona and Rome with a number of memorable stops in the Mediterranean, including Disney’s first-ever cruises to the Greek Isles.

Additional stops in Spain, along with ports of call in France, the British Isles, and Norway are planned during late 2023 itineraries for the Disney Dream.

The Disney Dream first launched out of Port Canaveral in 2011, where over the years the ship has allowed millions of Guests to experience the magic of Disney at sea while visiting the Bahamas and Castaway Cay.

The Disney Wish will begin cruising out of Port Canaveral on July 14, 2022, with a five-night voyage calling on Nassau in the Bahamas and Disney’s Castaway Cay. Following her maiden voyage, the Disney Wish will call on the same ports for three and four-night cruises.
