Bob Iger recently made his first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort since he returned to his former position of CEO of the Walt Disney Company in November.
His latest visit to “The Most Magical Place on Earth,” is only the most recent example of Iger’s attempts to share his gratitude and appreciation for Cast Members, following last month’s company-wide employee town hall, and his initial message to Cast upon his return to the top executive position.

Following several reported sightings of the executive by Disney fans on social media, Iger took to his own Twitter account to share the following message:
“Had a great visit to @WaltDisneyWorld this week and I’m always so inspired by our spectacular cast members, who bring such talent and dedication to everything they do. Thank you!”

Iger’s return to CEO was largely met with excitement from Disney fans who were apprehensive about the direction the company was going under former CEO Bob Chapek. Amid all of the excitement, Disney fans have quite the wish list of changes they would like to see made under the boomerang CEO.
The company has already shared that Iger’s primary focus will be restructuring several areas internally and working to find a suitable successor as his current term for the role of CEO only came with a two-year contract.

While Iger’s return has been overwhelmingly positive, we do have to note that several responses to his latest tweet call for pay increases for the Cast Members who work hard to keep the magic alive at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
As for whether or not pay increases will happen, or other changes fans might be hoping for while Iger is back with the Walt Disney Company, we will have to wait and see. As always, check back here on Disney Tips for all the latest news on Disney World and the Walt Disney Company.
