2023 is already shaping up to be a monumental year for Disney!
The Walt Disney Company celebrates its 100th anniversary (since its 1923 founding) this year, with festivities kicking off this month at Disneyland Park, and related experiences to follow at Disney Parks around the world, and for fans at home.
Walt Disney World is set to open several new attractions this year at its theme parks, including TRON Lightcycle / Run in the Magic Kingdom and Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana in EPCOT.
And of course, Bob Iger returned to the position of Disney CEO last November, as Bob Chapek was removed from the chief executive position. Iger’s return is set to bring with it several changes and restructuring, and Disney fans may see a first glimpse at what is going on behind the scenes, and what could be coming soon during the company’s next earnings call.
