Check Out This New Clip From Disney’s Upcoming Film ‘Strange World’

Strange World (2022) is Walt Disney Animation’s newest film, and it’s set to come to theaters next week on November 23. Although the start of the COVID-19 pandemic may have conditioned Disney fans into watching new movies on Disney+, Strange World will be coming exclusively to theaters.

Get ready for an “action-packed adventure” fit for the whole family. Just from watching the trailer, we can see that this movie is going to take audiences on an adventure unlike anything they’ve ever seen.

The film’s official description reads:

Opening in U.S. theaters on November 23, 2022, the feature film introduces a legendary family of explorers, the Clades, as they attempt to navigate an uncharted, treacherous land alongside a motley crew that includes a mischievous blob, a three-legged dog and a slew of ravenous creatures.

The film’s voice cast stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Searcher Clade, a farmer and “family man” who isn’t incredibly keen on adventuring, Gabrielle Union as Meridian Clade, an “accomplished pilot” and Searcher’s partner, and Jaboukie Young-White as Ethan Clade, their teenage son who yearns for a big adventure.

The voice cast includes Dennis Quaid as Searcher’s father, who lives for exploration, Jaeger, and Lucy Liu as Callisto Mal, described as “Avalonia’s fearless leader.”
