Child Runs Onto Disney World Parade Float Moving Towards Him in Extremely Dangerous Situation

A scary scene was witnessed by Walt Disney World Guests recently when a young child placed himself in a dangerous situation. Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade is a Magic Kingdom Parade that travels down Main Street, U.S.A.

Guests can watch some of their favorite Disney pals onboard the colorful entertainment experience. The parade usually runs several times daily on a route that moves from Frontierland through Liberty Square and finally down Main Street, U.S.A.

Part of Walt Disney Words’ 50th Anniversary Celebration, the lively cavalcade dons some of Disney’s classic characters dressed in festive attire. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Chip, Dale, and Pluto make up the “EARidescent 8” that celebrate with Guests aboard their blue, purple, and gold color schemed floats.

Unfortunately, Pluto was in for quite the surprise when a little boy suddenly ran from the crowd in front of his vehicle! With a sippy cup in hand, he ran up the steps towards the character as the parade continued heading toward him, making for an extremely dangerous situation.

The first step looked a bit too steep for the little one. Nevertheless, the child pressed on, making his way up several stairs, much to the horror of Pluto. Once up the first step, the parade thankfully came to a stop.

No parents or guardians could be seen in the video, which is surprising, being that the boy was so young. After heading straight into Pluto, the character tried to stop him. At this point, a performer runs up the steps and almost falls as she lunges to grab the boy.

She successfully gets a hold of him, picks him up, and carries him off the float. Pluto’s body language seemed to show concern as he watched the boy exit the frightening scene. A Cast Member with a clipboard suddenly appears, and we see the child’s guardian running towards the group from the other side of the street.

This could have ended very badly if not for the quick thinking of the Disney Cast Member. Although the events in the video are quite shocking, we’re just glad the child is okay!
