Cinderella’s Royal Table seems to have been fully evacuated from what we know, and it was seen that emergency lights were going off. Guests could also hear fire alarms going off as well.

Police officers have arrived at the scene, and Guests are not allowed to get too close to Cinderella Castle at this time.

On Twitter MasterJoeyJedi shared: The music was turned off and performers filed off stage as an announcement stated, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, this performance of Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire has been canceled.”

In a separate tweet he said:  “Usually, such sudden cancelations are due to weather or an injury, but neither seemed to be an issue today. The show ended just before the final pyrotechnics would usually go off. Afterward, Cinderella Castle remained closed and we heard a fire alarm going off about every 10sec”

We don’t have any more information on what is going on, but it is safe to say this is not a normal routine at Magic Kingdom.

It was said today at 1:15 p.m. the performance of Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire suddenly ended in the middle of the final number. The music quickly turned off, and performers hustled off the stage as an announcement said: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, this performance of Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire has been canceled.”

The show ended right before the final pyrotechnic would usually go off. We are not sure if there was a malfunction with the fireworks or some other technical difficulty.

Sometimes shows will have to stop suddenly or be canceled due to bad weather, but it is currently 82 degrees and sunny in Central Florida, so it is highly unlikely that was the problem.
