Additional Showtimes Coming Soon for One of Disney’s Most Unique Performances

The Walt Disney World Resort is home to some of the best live performances short of a full-length Broadway production, and we often find ourselves planning our trips to the Parks around some of our favorite shows.

With live performances as some of the most beloved attractions across Disney Parks, Guests visiting the Resort can enjoy a number of iconic musicals like Festival of the Lion and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire in the Magic Kingdom.

Surprisingly enough, one of the best shows at the Walt Disney World Resort is actually not located within one of the four Disney Parks. For an exciting evening out with dinner and a show, and perhaps some shopping thrown into the mix as well, you will want to head over to Disney Springs.

Disney’s own shopping, dining, and entertainment complex is home to Drawn to Life by Cirque du Soleil, a completely original production created exclusively for the Walt Disney World Resort. Even if you have seen other Cirque du Soleil shows in the past, you need to see the way this renowned production company takes their own art form and blends it with a form of storytelling that is uniquely Disney.

Beginning in 2023, Guests at Walt Disney World will have more chances than ever before to see this breathtaking live performance. Starting January 4, 2023, Drawn to Life will have two performances on the schedule Wednesday-Sunday at the theater in Disney Springs. Wednesday-Saturday showtimes will run at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., while Sunday will include two matinees at 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The company hopes that adding the new earlier showtimes, Drawn to Life will be more accessible to all Guests, especially those visiting with young children who hope to see the show but cannot make the later evening performances.

Along with Disney’s memorable characters, the show uses Cirque du Soleil’s distinctive style of choreography, acrobatic performances, and an original musical score heard alongside Disney animation created just for this show.
