The Best Lunch With a View You Might Have Missed in the Magic Kingdom

You do not need to break the bank to have lunch or dinner with an incredible view at the Magic Kingdom! Sure, locales like Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be Our Guests offer some wonderful sights for a Disney table-service meal, but one of our favorite spots to unwind with a magical view is actually at one of the Park’s quick-service restaurants.

Columbia Harbour House

Located right at the intersection of Liberty Square and Fantasyland, Columbia Harbour House is a Disney World Restaurant that serves up New England-inspired lunch and dinner in a kitschy, nautical setting. While not necessarily the most popular quick-service location in this Disney Park (that honor would likely go to Casey’s Corner, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, or Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn & Cafe), there is more reason to dine here beyond the fried fish and infamous lobster roll (along with the rest of the Columbia Harbour House menu featuring fried fish, New England clam chowder, grilled salmon, and more.)

To avoid a long wait in line, especially during peak lunch and dinner rushes in the theme park, we recommend placing a mobile order for your meal at Columbia Harbour House. Once you have your food, look for the nearest staircase and head upstairs.

The entire upstairs seating area of Columbia Harbour House is more spacious than the first floor, and wherever you choose to sit for lunch and dinner, you should be able to find a table up here for the whole family to enjoy some tasty chicken tenders or fried shrimp with french fries

The absolute best place to sit inside Columbia Harbour House, though, is in one of the alcoves that overlook either Fantasyland or Liberty Square, depending on which side your table is on. Grab a seat by one of the windows and you will be able to take in views of the Haunted Mansion or into Fantasyland by the small breezeway near “it’s a small world.”

Couple these incredible views with the often quiet atmosphere, air conditioning, and delicious lunch or dinner, and you have one of our favorite experiences in the Magic Kingdom! Experience the view during your next Walt Disney World vacation, and be sure to use the mobile order function in the My Disney Experience app to order. Enjoy!
