Daniel Craig’s run as James Bond wrapped with finality—on screen, at least. After five films and a complete character arc that gave Bond both grit and emotion, his version was written out in a way no other 007 had been. But theme parks don’t deal in final chapters. And that’s why Universal’s new UK resort could be where Craig suits up one more time.
Universal Studios Great Britain is targeting a 2031 opening in Bedfordshire, and while most attention has been on the family-friendly fare—Minions, Harry Potter, and the rest (all rumored)—the project may have something bigger in the works. A James Bond attraction is also rumored to be in development, and if it happens, it could feature Craig’s likeness.
Universal has a track record of getting actors back in character for park projects, even after their last movie appearance. Think of Bryce Dallas Howard popping up in Jurassic World rides, or Vin Diesel’s hologram growling through Fast & Furious: Supercharged.
Craig’s version of Bond has the recognizability, tone, and global draw to pull it off.
An attraction centered around Bond fits neatly into Universal’s current playbook. With that said, the attraction is rumored to be a stunt show, which means that a new James Bond actor would be needed. Still, they could embody the likeness of Daniel Craig’s gritty, suave Bond, while the show’s branding could also be built around his films.

Nothing’s official yet, but if it goes forward, the Bond attraction would give the UK park a clear identity. It’s a homegrown IP with international legs. And it’s not just a nod to British film—it’s a smart way to build something with more edge than family-friendly mascots.
Craig won’t be back in theaters as Bond–that much is settled. The next actor is still a huge mystery, and Eon Productions is taking its time. But theme parks are a different format. The stakes are lower and the performance is frozen in time. And for Craig, it could be a fitting epilogue: one last mission, not to save the world, but to undertake one last mission.
